As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Like I said wills here is technically better than Ramsey and indeed most players and what do you know, Manu coaches agree.
Of course some idiot will believe all they want to believe in the article but rubbish the bit about winger as it proves once and for all they are clueless

oranges and apples - the scout brought him into the club and watches Danny every day/week, but he probably only sees Jack from afar on the highlights. he doesn't see the constant keeping the ball too long and inviting injuries, running into dead alleys and falling over a lot.
the two are not mutually exclusive. he can be right on Danny and wrong on wilshire - smarter people would understand that, but not the JCL/club Ingerland fanbois who love rooney too perhaps ?

Good one Rodders!!
I always had a feeling the signing of Arshavin was above his head at a time we looked in real danger of missing out on the virtual trophy. Now with him content to play Sanogo every game and after a sluggish start to the season I wouldn't be at all surprised if Welbeck was brought in by Ivan and co.
There has been zero mention of Welbeck by Wenger, he's obviously got the hump.
Sorry, not having that, that will never happen at this club and IF they did go over his head they would have gone for a far more fancy name to take the heat off them, Welbeck is a very Wenger signing, ok, it was a pure panic but it is still him all over, take a struggling Winger/Striker and turn him into a goal scorer/star.

Welbeck - no. Panic buy - yes. All imo.
I don't think that DW is a panic buy in the sense that a) he didn't need to be scouted, b) we needed a striker and c) he's a real AW signing..a team player, hard worker, able to play in different positions, young with potential etc
I'm warming to his signing because he's never really been played as an out-and-out forward and perhaps there's a latent potential there and his much disparaged finishing record maybe down to circumstance rather than ability

he won't til Friday. I'm just praying he doesn't get injured tonight.
You're probably right. Am I the only one to find it incredible that 7 days after signing our third most expensive signing ever, the man that supposedly bought him has yet to utter a single word on the transfer? Mind blowing.
