[POLL]: When should Wenger go?
I dont personally think there is any doubt now that it is time for the manager to leave but the timing of it will have far reaching consequences for the club. Please indicate when you think that he should leave his post.
I have included the option for him to stay in case anyone feels I am being too negative.
MODS NOTE: Get your votes in now, will merge it once poll runs out Sunday evening.
Already two Wenger threads running.

Now!!!
Why? I fear that that he will never leave. I fear winning a single game, when the media then stay quiet, akbs rise from the dead, and 4th is like a trophy again.
Cut our losses and let him go now. Realistically speaking, the club won't do it, they'd ask him, how they go about hiring his replacement.

Now. It's not as if he even uses tactics so there's no possible negative impact of him leaving now; you could send the 11 players out with no manager and get the exact same result (perhaps even better because of the lack of fear of playing the prehistoric way that Wenger demands).
There is nothing to lose and everything to gain by sacking him now.

Re: When should Wenger go?
5 May 2009 !!! After the 1-3 CL semi final humiliation at home to Man Utd.
But Supagoon is spot on when he says that 1 or 2 wins will have the media and the AKBs furiously knocking one out and lecturing us all that "real fans have patience" and Wenger is still not just the best man for the job but the only man.
Unless we protest long and loud we'll be stuck in this nightmare for at least 3 more years.

Gotta smile at the 100% 'Now' votes so far

Re: When should Wenger go?
bit stunned at the response to be honest
I assumed that most people would still say at the end of the season
I think there is a recognition though now that he might finally be on the brink with another couple of bad defeats.
incidentally his odds have tumbled in the past couple of weeks from 66/1 to 16/1 to be the next PL manager to leave their job.

Before this gets the Quartz treatment.....
A cancer needs excising immediately so bollocks to waiting until the end of the season. Come the end of the season we will have achieved Wenger's fabled virtual trophy and all this discontent will be forgotten.
AKB will punch the air in delight and enter a state of ecstatic fury as we limp into 4th only 20 points behind title winning Fabregas and his new Chelsea friends.
It will all play out again next season.
And the next and the next until the broken record finally goes.
