think he's on crystal. Sad to see a talented musician go so badly wrong. I saw them supporting Bon Jovi years ago and was really disappointed.

Re: THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD

Went to see this lot the other night. only about 150 people there, good rock bands £11 Added a few reviews from amazon for their albums. Money well spent.
This Might Hurt is the debut album from youthful UK rockers The Treatment. Billed as "classic sounds filtered through young hearts and minds", The Treatment are inspired by classic hard rock bands. This Might Hurt contains hints of Def Leppard, UFO or Thin Lizzy, with the riffs of early Aerosmith or Guns n Roses.
If the first album from UK rockers The Treatment, 'This Might Hurt', was a record of huge potential, showing just what can be achieved when young hearts and minds are inspired by classic sounds and shapes, then follow-up 'Running With The Dogs' shows that potential being realised in style! You only have to listen to this album once to realise that the elements that made the first outing so enjoyable have been amplified here - pushed to higher levels all round. It's like getting a new, upgraded model of a well-loved car: the wheels are fatter, the engine bigger and the exhaust delivers the kind of sound that makes revving at the lights an experience of both triumph and pleasure. Do yourself a favour, and check out tracks like 'I Bleed Rock + Roll', 'Emergency' & 'Don't Look Down' if you think that hulking great riffs and memorable choruses are the essential ingredients of a classic album. And there's a couple of gentler moments too, just to show the many strings these young chaps have to their collective bow. Not one of your five-a-day, but it does come with nuts, spice and plenty of tasty treats!
Born and raised in the musical heartland that is South Wales, Buffalo Summer deliver a lethal cocktail of 'effortlessly up beat, groove-laden, sing-along, balls out Rock 'n' Roll' - made up 1 part blues, 1 part southern rock, 1 part soul and all with a definite modern twist. Fashioned around a couple of years ago, much has happened since the band's inception and with an insatiable appetite to create and a desire to make their distinctive mark on the rock soundscape, they leapt up, plugged in and wrote, recorded and self-released their debut album in next to no time......and to a rousing chorus of cheers from the rock music press! 'A little Zeppelin here, a touch of Skynyrd there and a big helping of Free pretty much throughout....... What's really impressive here is the hunger and conviction of the delivery' - Classic Rock Magazine '.....here come Buffalo Summer, shaking their money makers at us with a sun drenched, retro heavy rock sound that's more cool shades and flared jeans than fake tans and boob tubes...' - Uber Rock Webzine. In the live arena the boys, as they say down there 'Bring the Soul from the Coal'. They have already pulled high profile support slots with Duff McKagan and Ugly Kid Joe, and with Skid Row this April and a much anticipated debut performance at this year's Download Festival there is clearly much more to come from these boys....... 'Guitarist Jonny, vocalist Andrew, drummer Gareth and bassist Darren possess an uber-cool, ultra rare nowadays stage presence, and a musical tightness and togetherness to die for'. - Uber Rock Live Review It s going to be a long hot summer when the Buffalo rides into town. Hold them horns tight... it's gonna be a hell of a ride!
If these boys came from California instead of Cimla then they would be world famous. Shame
If you're a fan of fist-pumping, anthemic hard rock then this album is almost certainly for you! I was put on to this band by a friend as Massive were due to support The Treatment, which we had tickets for. I was very glad I purchased Full Throttle as 2 weeks later, it was still occupying my car stereo. Full Throttle is Packed full of melodic tunes, 'massive' guitar solos and a singer with the vocals to melt the ears off an elephant! Australia's latest export follow a dynasty of great rock bands and these guys have really got what it takes to continue that legacy. They're just as awesome live too!

Not seen them before and always wanted to thought I'd better do it now in case they retire soon.

Still at least I found out before I went up to that London.

In for a bit of sentimentality: Going to see Def Leppard in Cologne in May 2015.
Saw them live for the first time at the Monsters of Rock in 1986 in Mannheim (with Warlock, Bon Jovi, Ozzy and Scorpions), later at the Cologne 'Sporthalle' (now demolished) and on Club-Tour at Bonn's Biskuithalle (also demolished). Those were the days!
