THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I notice our Chelsea loving chum has disappeared this past half an hour - must be celebrating after his two heroes got the goals

The mask slips a little further.....
Yet someone who hasn't got a good word to say about Arsenal and slips up with many facts that he tries to spout off (Baba) is a true Gooner? :rubchin:

Liverpool, spuds, west Ham, Southampton are right up there and the way le clown has hit new lows it's not as guaranteed as some fans think
We always have a fight on our hands for the VT, whether we give the Scummers a 13 point head start or somehow manage to come 4th in something last year dubbed a 2 horse race.

The reality is that each of the above also have a shocking lack of quality in depth and we are just marginally better than all of them over 38 games.
Get the wet wipes ready for 24 May and fear not.....we will qualify again and the sun won't fall from the sky
Remind me again - why did we leave Highbury??

Was it to compete with the likes of Southampon / West Ham / Swansea / Spurs?? I might be a bit mutton but to me it sounded like Real Madrid / Barca / Man Utd / Bayern Munich . . . . . . . . .

Yawn. Like I said before amigo, I've forgotten more about Arsenal than you've had tikka masalas.
Honestly, due respect, the smartest thing to ever come out of your mouth, is Arsene's dinkle...

Awesome result yesterday, great stuff, all is well, really happy with the club and manager

I'm allowed to replace the words "Arsene Wenger" with "Ikechuckwu" in a song that contains the words There's Only One ?

My name is Ike. He refuses to call me that and calls me Baba. So I address him! Still not a shred of evidence produced by the amateur detective agency

Stop being so negative! I think he needs a chance to sign defenders in Jan. Once that happens I think we can comfortably get 5th. In such a competitive PL it'd rank as one of his greatest feats
