Whats so clear is that Kos was the animal that spurred BDG on, no Kos and he is just not anywhere near good enough. Together and t5he partnership was formidable.

Very sad as theres been times last season when he seemed to bust a gut for us.

35% possession and allowed the opposition 27 attempts at goal.

I thought we were supposed to control the game with nice sideways passing? The above numbers suggest we are a bunch of strangers.

The possession argument is as outdated as the "his teams play beautiful football" and "he doesn't buy superstars, he makes them". On a number of occasions in the past few season we've been "outpossessed" - just witness the display in Dortmund against a significantly weakened opposition for a recent reminder.

The modern day equivalents are his team play "non descript football" and "he buys superstars and plays them out of position"

both merts and nacho guilty there - only debuchy and chambers were attacking the space.

logic dictates that in the pre-game prep you tell your best header and tallest player to stick like glue on their best header . but of course, we do no pre game prep, so per was told in training to defend the space.

How can a team with an extra man and 11 men in the box in the 96th minute have NOBODY on the front post and NOBODY marking the centre back who bagged two in 10 minutes against us last year?

Wenger deserves a huge share of blame for this because it's the way he sets us up to 'defend' corners and he has overseen this transition into huge bottle jobs, but any commanding Winner worth their salt would have marshalled us properly for this corner at least. We are completely fucking rudderless and Wenger's personal views on the usefulness of a captain are reflected by our complete lack of leadership on the pitch.

We were every bit as bad as every dicking we've received, thankfully they are a mid table side.

In fairness though we voted BFG as captain by a country mile for this season. Thats not to say that the transfers in have seen us have a bunch of pussies signed, it was a case of slowpuss, captain stupidpuss or puss puff in boots as captain.

4 out of 6 corners yesterday didn't clear the first man. 5 out of 7 if you include the foul on Giroud down by the corner flag. One corner was taken before the defenders had even gone up for it, which happened against Stoke! I can't wait for this lethargic, boring, repetitive and complacent regime to change and some winners to come back to The Arsenal

because corners are not an important part of our game. we don't practice them, prepare for them or study the opposition's.

footage of us practising set pieces is rarer than dinosaur poop.

Bouldy knew how to defend and attack corners, but it would seem his main job now is putting out the cones for the high intensity 20 minutes of five a side, before the players toddle off to have their muscle strains looked at.

none of this is new since 2010 - just the faces change.

you and i both know it only takes one gobby git to go "danny - back post", "gibbo - front post", "per - take out that bleeding c*nt", stay on him ! " - christ, i knew that when i was in the u10's Slough Combination, but that would involve FIVE players making snap decisions to directly disobey the boss.

and you can imagine the result of disobeying the boss can't you ? - public blame, thrown under the bus, tutting, frowning and being benched in favour of some french african nobody.

and wenger would never sign or play someone that would question him in training anyway - thats why he prefers young boys and 'sensitive' players like ozil, giroud etc who would never dream of contradicting Le Thief.

this is the culture wenger has created - don't lead, follow.

you lot did - i pointed out that in every single game him and Kos take turns not to track back or get caught our of position. I also pointed out that both were dropped in the later stages of their WC campaigns.

my choice was Rambo.

It would make fuck all difference though, don’t you think?

“Captaincy in this country is overrated”.

We are all about collective responsibility, and the very idea of someone cajoling and organising his teammates is probably anathema to Wenger.
