Monaco away travel tix etc

Seems like most people I've spike to are staying in nice , is anyone planning coming through to Monaco on match day for beers or you think everyone will drink in nice and head in for the game , anyone been Monaco before that knows of bars that sell beer that's not £30 a pop

there is an Irish bar in Monte Carlo was there a few years ago about £5 per beer, no cheap bars, however there are some frite/chip vans on the harbour that sell beer at a reasonable price, avoid casinos and hotels, Horrendous price(s).
Nice is a great place with loads of sensibly priced bars etc..

Don't know about pubs I'm afraid, but when I was there for the day a few years ago there was a supermarket right down by the water next to the start of the F1 where you can get cheap food and I imagine a can or 5. Don't know if there are street drinking rules.

i'm staying in monaco - got a cheap airbnb with a few pals

brasserie de monaco and ship and castle (both on the harbour) sound like good options; terraces, five euro beers and show sport
