We were shit but got through. That is the FA Cup. In the final now so let's finish the job.

I cannot understand how Chesney is being blamed for their goal - I'm not his biggest fan but the ball was deflected just 6 yds in front of him ffs

Team selection wasn't the problem today - the problem today was that our players are arrogant cocks and the senile old b*stard simply cannot motivate a team anymore
I should also add that yet again le cock was woeful tactically - some of you claimed that wenker has changed his attitude and modified his tactics, but yet again today we showed no width and more tippy tappy shite  How many times has he tried and failed with the system that has ramsey on the wing ?

Are BBC showing the final? That was the first time I ever watched a game on mute. Between Lineker, Shearer, Roberts, and Murphy, it was the greatest collection of wankers ever :banghead: I can understand the excitement of seeing the underdog doing well, but they pushed it to the extent that it turned into Reading fan TV, and couldn't listen to them any longer.

Regardless of whom we play - it will be much worse if it's the scouse filth - it will be stevee the diving cheat mee's last game etc

and they will do all but suck his dick

Not sure i agree with you on team selection Augie, i don't see the point in the change he made with our current form however i have to agree with everything else you said, Wenger is possibly the least inspirational manager in English football these days

Agreed. Absurd to shoe-horn him in if it means playing wide; he's mostly arse there.

Wenger nearly fucked up, but we were the better team and should of scored 6.

Don't agree with the idea of playing both Debuchy and Gibbs after long injuries. But he is probably saving Monreal and Bellerin for the Chelsea game :D

Insane team selection , Debuchy was dead on his feet after an hour and Gibbs was poor too and Chez is a liability .
Leaving Giroud out was foreseeable but stupid, whilst :barscarf: sticking 5 in the midfield meant none of them knew where they were supposed to be.
Add to that a woeful performance by overpaid prima donners and we still won >

Got what we deserved with stupid team selection - what the fuck is he resting players for? I've been a pretty harsh critic of Giroud and Monreal in times gone by, I thought Bellerin at second choice this season was worrying and Ospina is not the long-term solution but each of those players has earned their place in this current side.

Nowhere near as bad as last season against Wigan and had we been playing a team of equal pedigree the pundits wouldn't get over what a one-sided game it was. The occasions are a bit of a leveller, but the reality is we played well within ourselves and got away with it.

Got through to the final which is ultimately what matters - but we won't be able to afford to play like we have on our 4 FA Cup appearances at new Wembley so far because we won't win. Let's fucking enjoy it though :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Come on the Villa!!!

I know I shouldn't be surprised but what is it with Arsenal when we're favourites? - we seem to mentally switch off. Bizarre considering everything that's gone wrong over the last decade, but obviously that's down to the manager.

I know Augie thinks differently, but I really disagree with tinkering with a winning side. It just seems so unnecessary when you're playing once a week. I mean why do it? we're riding the crest of a wave so why mess with a winning formula?

However, IF you really do insist on tinkering with a winning team (which you shouldn't do Augie  ) then surely the best reason is to balance the midfield by giving a natural outside right (Welbeck/Theo) the chance to stake a serious claim to pushing Ramsey out of a position that doesn't suit him. Ramsey is "doing a job" out there but it's the obvious position to tinker with in a game like this.

I don't agree with leaving Giroud out and I certainly don't understand changing 3 of your back 5. And the whole cup goalkeeper bollocks should never go as far as cup semi's and finals. Nor Old Trafford the round before. Madness.

We deserved to win on chances, but bloody hell... they were 2 on 1 with 3 minutes to go  :o - scary stuff. Thank God Mackie made a shite run.

Anyway, we won. That's all that matters. :barscarf: Come on Villa!

Phew, don't care how we did it, we're there. If reading played like that throughout the season they wouldn't be 17th in the championship. Its a one off game and we won it fair and square. Hopefully, saving our blistering best for May 30th. Any pray of chelski stalling vanished today. We just need to keep winning seal second and blow away either villa or Liverpool like we did at home in the league to both teams, to secure another much needed trophy.
