THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But Giroud is amazing! Isn't he? :rubchin:
as mentioned his hat trick against the chavs was sublime

He is average but with Wenger in charge, Giroud will always be the main striker. He is a 10-15 goal a season striker, but is made out by some to be world class, simply because he is a fan favourite. It's interesting that we spent 16 million on Welbeck, when we could have taken the huge cash reserves we have and spent 30 million for a world class striker, anything to save a few pounds :banghead:

Wenger makes it hard on himself. A decent run of form in 2015 and we are title contenders. He does not see that the teams around him will improve no end for the new season. A clever fool in many ways our title days are well and truly over

Sadly that is all too true. When his apologists talk about our amazing form ask them at what point did Arsenal challenge for the title this season?.

The delusional tight wad cunnt will use any excuse (no matter how weak) so as not to spend any money - no wonder the wig wearing cunnt wants him to stay as long as possible. Oh! well that the 2015-16 season fucked already.

I despair I truly feckin' do.

The clueless old duffer is worse than a recurring pile.

His press releases are a wind up to anyone who wants the club to properly compete for top honours.

He can't funk off soon enough!

Chelsea won the league by a huge margin, and will strengthen in the summer, so if Wenger buys fuck all then we will be at a disadvantage before the league even begins. Id guess that we will look at what the other teams around us do and buy in reaction to that, so as to ensure we finish in the VT position. I don't think there will ever be a season under Wenger that we address all the issues we have in the squad, and that will mean no title challenge again next season.

What a massive lady part the man is.
My hatred for him grows stronger every day and the good he once achieved seems more and more like a distant dream.
Was it luck, were the other teams around us so bad that they made us look that good?
No, I don't think that was really the case, but the longer he stays the more of a mystery his achievements seem.
Why has his attitude towards winning the top trophies changed? Is it as simple as believing he could conjure up a great team from the likes of Eboue, Bendtner, Denilson etc. When you look at those players and what came before them it seems even more absurd.
How can you go from believing 1st is everything, and nobody remembers the runners-up, to the top 4 being success??
