That's what I thought - may as well put messi in there as well cos there is as much chance of us signing messi this summer as there is of signing pogba

Change is not always the answer :D

I'm not allowed to sing my favourite song anymore but the temptation is overwhelming

"We spoke about Chelsea. They have a stable defence that has played together for two or three years now and they conceded less goals than the other teams," Wenger said. "That is no coincidence. Every team needs a good spine, but change is not always the answer to everything.

Ah Cahill, the guy not worth the £8m that we could have got him for.

Change isn't required when what you already have works......................

We wouldn't have had Coquelin back if Arteta or Flamini were still fit at that point in the season.
We wouldn't have given Ospina his run in the team if Shezcescezney hadn't fucked up time and time again.

Doing nothing to rectify obvious flaws and weaknesses and expecting them to magically improve is not the answer either you numpty :banghead:

If we do manage to get 3rd then Old Clueless will see that as all the excuses he has ever wanted not to spend any money...Even though WE all knowwe need:

A Proper Striker, Defensive Midfielder, C.Back and Goalie. - If we are to even come close to challenging for the title next season....jezzzuss another season goes by - another year in all our lives and what? - Arsenal fail to challenge for the Prem title again.

To be honest, I don't think Cahill would have made any difference to us. We've always had centre backs of that level.

John Terry is the one who makes the big difference. Juts like Adams, Campbell and Vidic. Once you have a defender of that calibre, life becomes much easier.

Still, our defence has done ok this season. Sign a top class keeper and holding midfielder, and I'll be relatively content (unless an absolutely top class centre back is available)

Good point. We need a really strong presence around whom everything can be built. But I still think you can see a notcieable difference in the Chelsea defence with Mourinho and ohne Mourinho.

Unfortunately, we are not producing any centre backs of note ourselves (just look at our laughable attempts) and the organisation of the back four is still suspect (Mourinho makes a big difference).

Not arsenal related but according to SSN raheem sterling will tell Brendan Rogers tomorrow he won't sign a new contract with Liverpool.

Hopefully not Arsenal related - wouldn't surprise me if we offload one over-rated one trick pony (wally) to them, and replaced him with another over-rated cocky c.unt to play on the wing
