Looks like Szczesny is off to Roma on loan with a view to a £3.5m transfer, according to various rags.

It seems the club are desperate to offload him as he must now be considered a flop, alongside Flappy and Coco the Clown.

How many ‘keepers do you think we’d have to go through before the finger of blame gets pointed at Wenger and/or the goalkeeping coach? Am I correct in thinking Cech brought his own coach?

£3.5m ?? He may not be the best keeper in the world but ffs he is worth a lot more than that :evil: Qpr's reserve keeper is going to palace for £3.5m and we are supposedly selling an international keeper for the same price ?? :shock: :roll:

Mertersecker talks a good game to somehow try and hide his deficiencies on the pitch, that tactic well used previously

He is a strange player you sometimes expect him to get totally slaughtered but he just about comes through intact

The chronic lack of pace for a CB in the premier league though is a joke
