As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

REB wrote:i have a guy coming today at 3 with an android box. cost including installation was 150euro which over here is the same as 3/4 months of sky/bt sports subscription, im hoping the picture quality is good for the games as then i will cancel my sports package and just keep the basic as i will need good broadband and be in profit so to speak before xmas.
What's the story with these Reb? Do you have to download apps like Mobdro and then find the best stream on the app or can you channel hop like you would with your sky box? Also, you should download "Show Box", was only told about it today but at first glance it seems OK.

modro plus lots more already on it, now i have all the sports, movies etc etc .. picture not hd but good enough, plus i couldnt find a guide so had to go on every sports channel just to see what was on offer IE premier league games , thur night i had every europa league game but soon got bored of that and put back on the porn
From what I've seen those (presumably illegal) boxes are a mixed bag - most of the ones I've seen are very patchy and cut out or freeze regularly.
I signed up with BT a few months ago - they hammered the CL-based marketing after winning the rights (they were playing that Mourinho TV and radio advert on loop the day after this year's final) and had some good deals. Unlimited fibre-optic internet, BT TV with sports (including Europe) and some shit landline phone deal (who uses those nowadays?) for less than £30 a month. Doesn't even go up that much after 12 and you can without fail always barter them down to renew.
Parents have SkyGo so router next to TV + HDMI cable and you can't even notice the difference.
"Thanks Swanny and KP for that expert discussion. Now let's go over to Dominic Cork and Darren Gough to take you through the first half hour"
Having a duopoly over the "crown jewels" in English sport is not good for the consumer IMO. BT have made more inroads into Sky's dominance of this market than any other company. Expect the overall cost to go up.
