TBF We did sign Gabriel in the Jan window, I know we were short for a little bit longer than planned, TV has remained permacrok and managed 2 Barca appearances at £7.5m a game

Not saying that letting TV leave was wrong, but to not replace him till January was criminally neglectful and left us with, from memory 6 defenders, 2 of which were new to the team and BFC had just got back from the world cup not giving a shit.
How did our early season matches go ?
January is when you got additional players in to push you on not to replace gaping holess that were there through the summer and then half the season.
