FC BAYERN AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just found the answer to who is on the bench. Basically, there is no bench.

All the time, just think about how there are no quality players available who can strengthen the squad.

You can't go behind early on against teams like Bayern. Whilst it's at 0-0 although they will always dominate against us they don't always create that many chances (Dortmund used to be the same). They will tire and you will always get a few great chances. But go behind and they may it nearly impossible to chase the game.

Can somebody tell me what the fuck MertesCker was actually doing for that goal?

We daren't leave the half of our half of the pitch. Campbell had the chance to chase a loose ball then, but pulled back to get in defense.

Now now. That's the Arsenal "captain" you're talking about!
As I said: after that Monaco disgrace last year he should have been bombed out and never played for the club again. Alderweireld was available from Atletico for just £10m FFS.

This has been predictably shit but thankfully no injuries so far. Take off Sanchez, Ozil and Coq and play the stiffs in the second half.

Mertesaker has been awful tonight. Getting muscled off the ball by Thomas Muller is just an indictment as to why he should be on the bench.

Pathetic again from that lanky streak of piss, great save by Cech.

Getting embarrassing now, giving somebody all the time in the world to shoot from 20 yards.
