Sunderland FA cup Sat 9th 1500

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who gives a flying fuck what sort of team Sunderland put out. When we win the cup for a 13th time only a sad tosser would look back in years to come and say "oh but remember that day in 2016 in the 3rd round when Sunderland fielded a weakened team"

Cup football is back !
Bored by Barcelona but excited by Sunderland reserves in the 3rd round of the Fa Cup
Shots fired!!!!!!

Fair point well made Robin of the L's

But also........

:D :D :D

Is he still stalking me after sooooooo long ! He must have been climbing the walls while I was on holiday recently.

Bless him - I bet he's cuddling his Barca replica kit and looking forward to taking selfies at the Nou Camp with all the other tourists.

Yeah heaven forbid I'd get excited by a cup we've won 12 times and is renowned the world over for being the greatest domestic cup competition of the lot in favour of another rinse and repeat episode of getting stuffed by Barcelona whilst barely laying a glove on them

Still, send me a nice postcard if you find time in between Facebook posts !

To be fair, we’re going to need one of those dolls that's used in certain legal proceedings to show how badly & where Barca hurt us after that one is done & dusted.

The FA Cup however, well, that’s a trophy we can actually win - again. :barscarf:

No need to get irate Steven, just pointing out a rather amusing irony. Given how you trip over yourself every Champions League game in your rush to tell the forum about tossing yourself off in the bath with the candles out, waiting for Olimpiacos away on "Matchday 6". It was slightly funny the first time though if I'm honest.

By the way, it's not that relevant that we can't win the Champions League but can win the FA Cup. It's the fact that it's the 3rd round, Wenger will put out a shit side against Sunderland's even more shit side.

I bet it'll be the most boring home game all season, 1-0 Arsenal following a mistake from Sunderland's 18 year old debut left full back.

Category B as well, who are they kidding  Early round home games in the Fa/League Cup against dull opposition should be a new Category D price.

Do you live in Norwich?

Theo hattrick
I did live in Watford a long time ago. Is that close enough ?. It's much warmer where I live now.
How can 'The Boy Wonder' score a hatrick from the bench ?. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Wouldn't be so sure mate, we're likely to play Danny Graham, he's a £5million 1 in 3 striker.

Admittedly it's one in three years like and it was this classic that deflected in off his arse but still, be afraid, be very afraid

This should be category C. Was going to flog my ticket but mate convinced me to still go.

3-1 Arsenal. The Jeff to get a goal. Sam Allardyce to complain post match that they would have won but they have had too many fixtures and it's the premier league's fault

The FA Cup is winnable, the CL isn't. I can understand fans caring more about this match than an annual CL Knockout Round reaming with questionable officiating.

That said, I think this match will be shit; a battle of the reserves. Hope we win though :barscarf:

So with this line up, who will be playing CAM? Ox or Iwobi?

Interesting...

Peace
