Whoever plays from our squad, should be good enough to win.
However, it will, yet again, come down to attitude and application - if we roll up thinking its in the bag, I can see Burnley putting up a hell of a fight and causing a shock.
Not at all confident (but cant remember when I last was)

The 'Cup' still means something to me however I'm not too confident about this one. If we go out with a half baked team like the Carling Cup we'll get done. Play 'anybody' for Feo & our chances of scoring improve heaps.

I remember playing them in the cup a few years ago when Eduardo scored that outside of the foot volley and it hammered down with rain for the whole game and loads of people either didn't turn up or disappeared for the second half. I then found out that the concourses were full of people watching the match on the tv screens there. It sort of summed up the whole match-day experience since moving to the bowl.

As well as giving Chambers, Elneny etc a run, I'd like to see us try a different formation. With the exception of Alexis, none of our wide players give us any penetration at the moment, can't cross well and don't always track back.
I'd be interested to see us use a diamond formation, with Chambers in the anchor role and then Alexis could play off of Giroud.
Neither Giroud nor Theo can play the lone-striker role.
Plus, it would headfuck the opposition who probably never consider our tactics, as we've lined up the same way for the last 7 or 8 years.
No doubt AW's working on it as we speak.

If he slipped his shirt off it would be borderline pornographic. And if the shorts came off......DB10GOONER wrote:And just for you;augie wrote:DB10GOONER wrote:Am I the only one that finds that photo genuinely sexy ?OneBardGooner wrote:We will Lose This But All Will remain The Same On Beach Wenker
