Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Apparently RVP was giving serious consideration to changing his mind and signing a new deal with us, and then he saw the new away kit and said:

You can fuck right off if you think I'm going to wear THAT Shyte!.

And could blame him!?

There's only 2 clubs I could never ever forgive him for joining; the Scum (laughable) and The Manure Filth (possible). The minute he signed for one of them he would turn into a bigger crunt than Adabayore. I would crunt him from the rooftops.

I would also NEVER EVER forgive Lord Vader or the Arsenal Board if he is sold to the Filth. Fuckers.

Papers reporting Juve is his favoured club to go to !

Great move from RVP ,he knows the Juve deal won't happen, nor does he even want to go there ,so when Arsenal take the highest bid of either City or Utd he can claim that the club forced the deal because of the transfer fee and is instantly absolved of any wrongdoing and can look like he has been forced into it !

The club can blame him for being a money whore when moving to our so called competitors !

Que more rumours of him being seen in Manchester looking at Properties !

Treble wages Geneva Gins and Orangebooms all round !

We are a farm club for the rich kids !

I just don't see that after they got burned by Berbatov, similar age, similar big fish scenario, it wouldn't be a good move for him like it wasn't for Berbatov.

Its good for driving the price up though.

if RVP joins United can someone explain to me why we ever left Highbury.

I thought it was to be able to compete with United not sell them our best players????

if RVP joins United this club is moving into terminal decline.
