Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Scum - Fuck 'em. :D :D :D :D :barscarf: :barscarf:
The article from Oliver Holt early in the season has been doing the rounds on twitter but the headline is glorious- "God help rivals if they hit top gear" in reference to Spurs beating Everton
So many cùnts in the media had convinced themselves that Spurs won the summer transfer window and were desperate to be proven right. Neville was another who had them as certainties for top 4 and had said he was unsure about us, hard to be proven more wrong. Need to see that crappy club go back into obscurity were they belong.
Holt is an anti arsenal *word censored*.

Fully paid up member of thr Joe Lewis media influence crew.

If the ball hits an arm and the team gains an advantage from it how can it not be handball?

I honestly don't understand it.

With VAR decisions, don’t look at the incidents, look at the team involved. That’s where you’ll find your answers.

Don't think that even needed VAR. The ref, 2 linos and the 4th official could all have seen it as it was that obvious.

Just go back to handball is handball ffs.

Still 30 minutes left here and Leeds have conceded 9 in their last 2 games (both at home) - they are in complete free fall.

Surely when they were 2 up Liverpool should have started showboating in midfield and doing their best to give away penalties to make it an even match 🙄

They did make a massive fuck up to allow Leeds back to 2-1 but that was shambolic from Leeds. Two home games in a week, zero points and shipped 11 goals

Would be happy to see them go and never come back.

Whoever that person was needs to go back to the nurse for their medication. If I could handpick opponents right now it would be them and Leicester

Let’s just be honest. City’s only tough games are us (if we don’t totally shit the bed) and Brighton away. Every other game is a walkover. That’s why the West Ham game was the final nail in our self made coffin.

Although they didn't show it at the weekend, Everton have got the ability to turn their place into a tough visit - they've done it to us enough times and they did at the bitter end of last season when their lives depended on it. At the very least they'll fly into City and not stand off admiring them like those Leicester c.unts

We aren't a hard game for City. Brighton and Everton away, that's it.
