Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
I believe that Arsenal must hold Van Persie to his contract even if it would undoubtedly mean that we lose him on a Bosman next Summer. My reasoning on this is if we sell him now to anybody it gives out the cliched signal that we are paying for our stadium with our best players. Arsenal FC would have us believe differently , their spin is the Stadium is a separate issue and is/will pay for itself... Well prove it, make Van Persie stay, make him go to Asia and make him play next season. That would send out a signal that Arsenal are not bending over and supplying the Vaseline anymore. It may even send a signal to Robin himself that this club actually has principals and a vision...but maybe I am dreaming for too much.

I thought it was to be able to compete with United not sell them our best players????
if RVP joins United this club is moving into terminal decline.
They gave us......Silvestre.

We are now beyond doubt a tinpot club with a tinpot manager.
Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
talksport were reporting that manure could be the destination , if he goes there i would be really angry and pissed off , how the hell are we expected to improve in the premier league when we sell our best players to our rivals !!!!!!!!! this would be the lowest of the low atleast Vieria and Henry went abroad. (no wonder a category C has been introduced on tickets).
I know it is what ifs , but i would like to see Wenger explain and defend that one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if he has to go ,take less and insist he goes abroad

Liverpool, Newcastle and the Scum are our rivals, mate. We haven't challenged Manure in a long old time...shu wrote:talksport were reporting that manure could be the destination , if he goes there i would be really angry and pissed off , how the hell are we expected to improve in the premier league when we sell our best players to our rivals !!!!!!!!! this would be the lowest of the low atleast Vieria and Henry went abroad. you do realise that Stan Kroenke is in charge now?shu wrote:talksport were reporting that manure could be the destination , if he goes there i would be really angry and pissed off , how the hell are we expected to improve in the premier league when we sell our best players to our rivals !!!!!!!!! this would be the lowest of the low atleast Vieria and Henry went abroad. his main objective is to maximise profits. Kroenke would be quite happy to sell half the team to Spurs at the right price.

and your mate Wenger is in it with Kroenke up to his fucking neck, if he wasnt why would he stay? Its not as if he wouldnt get a top level job elsewhere and has made enough cash out of AFC to never have to work again..... The whole thing is rotten from the top downRed Member wrote:you do realise that Stan Kroenke is in charge now?shu wrote:talksport were reporting that manure could be the destination , if he goes there i would be really angry and pissed off , how the hell are we expected to improve in the premier league when we sell our best players to our rivals !!!!!!!!! this would be the lowest of the low atleast Vieria and Henry went abroad. donaldo
Wenger has got as much as the board to answer for this summer.
ok I let him off last year but I have consistently stated that I wouldnt be so lenient this time around.

They know and we know that the "Cat C" games are not selling these days, now that we can see the lack of ambition at the club. The League Cup games sell out because its cheap. The "cat A" games will always sell, more than likely the majority of the B games will as well.
So forget all this bullshit from the club ( AISA mean well but the the club just pay lip service to them) about reducing prices so all supporters get to see the team, its purely to sell the game out.
