The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

The Mirror are also having fun with Giroud. Lauren said only Sanchez would get in the 2004 team, and the Mirror take the piss by asking what about Giroud.

Giroud is turning into a parody. The comedic element in the media is having all sorts of fun, depicting him as an aloof, arrogant, naive pretty boy who is nothing more than a dim witted male model.

When the media makes jokes about you, it means they dont respect you as a footballer.

Oh I absolutely agree that Wenger's coaching methods are clearly useless and a player is more likely to be stunted or regress when they join us nowadays - hard to think of recent examples that Buck this trend.

I just take exception to this fucking gobs hire blaming everybody but the real culprit for not becoming a quality keeper - himself.

The bloke is one of the biggest disgraces to pull on an Arsenal shirt in my opinion. Arrogant prick cheesed about the pitch with his stupid grin and acted as though he was larking about with his mates on FIFA and not playing profession football for the Arsenal. Constant selfies, larking about and attention-seeking on top of that - he just didn't take it seriously enough and it showed as his undoubted ability went to waste to the extent that he was costing us goals every other week. And when afte years of enjoying his privileged position as unchallenged number 1 (including Wenger looking a gift horse in the mouth and passing on Lloris) he was dropped long after he should have been; it didn't take him long to start moaning and his dad even piped up. Let's not forget that this fucking cretin is mouthing off whilst still an Arsenal player - thankfully it surely means that he'll be shipped out permanently this summer. Good fucking riddance.

Although I still don't believe those stories about him smoking in the shower at Southampton last year. Even for this idiot it's far-fetched.

I think we need to remind ourselves that when we bandy about all sorts of names of players that we could or should sign, we should remember that basically agents control transfers and, as there are agents that we don't deal with, there are players we cannot sign.

As for Xhaka, I asked a Monchengladbach fan about him and he rates him highly, although he still has to get better at some sides of the game.

Wait until Wenger gets his coaching methods over.....No shooting.....tippy tappy sideways passing only....and most importantly on any big game come out totally uninterested and buckle under pressure..think thats everything :D :D :D

Anyone else expecting AFC to make a move to sign carrick ? 3 midfielders on the way out the door and carrick would fill one of those spots plus he is available on a freebie. I am not supporting the idea of signing him or anything, but wenger has history of signing cast offs from other big clubs, and I just have a feeling that carrick will be on his wanted list

Btw, the club has just announced that sanchez will be wearing number 7 next season so I assume that he is staying - I always felt that ozil was the more likely to go, but it would look woefully embarrassing for the club if they announced that he is changing his number, and then a few weeks later that he was changing clubs

Would not surprise me at all. :|

But I really hope it doesn't happen, Carrick on a good day is bog average, and on the other 99% of days he is absolute shite.

You know we always show ambition in these matters. United, crap, but they don't want him, so we'll have him. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Nothing would surprise me after we signed lightbulb head - who was woeful - and carrrick as has been pointed out - 99% of the time is absolute shyte....

Wenger reminds me of those people who go rummaging around in the bargain bins in Tesco on a Friday evening looking for cheapo/ damaged goods & foods etc - even when they don't really want it....

With Mourinho likely to turn up at OT in the next few days, Juan Mata will be one of the first out of the door. Worth a punt at strengthening the squad for £16m? Given Cazorla and Wilshere injury record he could be useful for us.

I would take him, he would be decent signing for us. He was brilliant at Chelski, was shit at Manure which means that his price tag is reasonable. Won't happen though as Maureen is a first class cunntt and he won't sell him to us.

Mata only underperformed at United (and to be fair did have some great runs of form) because he was shifted positions in a team that changed style every week. Especially last year when he could have a great game in the 10 role before next game they decide to lump balls up to Fellaini instead and then he is shifted to accommodate di Maria there the next.

I rate Mata and a teamwho signs him and builds their team's creative outlook around him will reap the benefits. He's not quite good enough to be that player for a side with title aspirations in my opinion but I don't think that David Silva for example is a much better player than him.

Can't see him going at that price because there is always somebody willing to chuck money around and United don't need to take that sort of hit. Not worth signing for us as it would be madness to try and accommodate him and Ozil and I dread the thought of one of them being shunted onto the wing and completely taking the pace out of our game.
