I can't but help think that's Cahill?

Must be a (long-term) replacement for Terry but can't see who that might be.

What would happen if Gooners actually convinced the board to buy Gary Cahill for £30m or whatever Bolton want and he turns out to be the next Senderos? Because you have to wonder why Manchester United would spend a ton of money on center backs over the last two years and neither of them were named Gary or Cahill What would happen if Gooners actually convinced the board to buy Samba and he turns out to be the next Igors Stepanovs? Because as much as people like to say that he played center forward for Blackburn if you ever watched any of those matches you would know that it was a gimmick, like Manute Bol shooting three pointers What is going on with Gervinhos five-head?
You've been warned several times before yet your still doing it!

What would we say if we bought Samba or Cahill and they turned out to be another Senderos? Oh I'm not sure, maybe we should look at the 13m spent on the useless Kos and Squillaci before answering that one? Arsene has wasted so much money on mediocrity over the past 5 years any established PL player will be better, guaranteed!

Btw have you seen this Gervinho bloke alot then?

Guess not but I'm sure you'll have no problem claiming hes one of the best players in Europe after all Arsene says so....
If you look in the Gervinho thread, you'll see my thoughts. As I said in there, I follow French football quite closely, and I wasn't sure he should be one of main transfer targets.
But I bet you suddenly think hes the bees knees now like all the other AKBs.

Another waste of space player to join the scrap heap.
Haha, I love it, so someone demonstrates a knowledge of a player and gives a fair assessment (which few posters on here are in a position to do), and yet despite revealing your ignorance, you still try and have a dig at me.....pathetic.
What's even worse is his knowledge of Gernomo is he "heard" he was worse than Walcott :banghead:

Gervinho is a shit signing, Newcastle level at best.

He wasnt even one of the best players at his old club Lille. He is Walcott lite, just all pace and no action, when they pack defenses he will be falling on his arse wait and see.

Bang bang, what evidence have you he is going to improve the team ? Travel over to Lille much and watch them do you? Ligue 1 aint on tv so you and demun must be regular visiters.

Of course I forgot the great Arsene signed him so he must be world class and a great REPLACEMENT for Nasri!

Gary Cahill isnt even that good, but since Wenger likes him the AKB think he is the new Bobby Moore!

The new Craig Moore more like!

Finally you actually didn't just tell me to F off!

I haven't got any. I trust Wenger more than I trust your judgement. He's actually pretty strong my French colleague tells me. Seeing as he follows the league I listen to him.

Also how the hell can you say that I don't know anything about him but yet you seem to know he's "walcott lite". Travel over to Lille much and watch them do you? Ligue 1 aint on tv so you and your mum must be regular visitors.

Pirestlible a copy and paste mug, probably paid by the club, and still claims Nasri and Fabregas will stay.

The others like demun and bang bang my arse, follow his lead.

Bet you lot cant wait to get your new Gervinho away kit signed by the man himself!

very few actually know what they're talking about.
Including Arsene Wenger unfortunately. History shows that Wenger is quite happy taking a chance on French/Africans, particularly from the French league. I suspect this is because he sees the French league as providing the best 'value'. However, there is a reason why French teams don't win European trophies, and also why their national team is a shadow of it's former self - they are simply not that good!!

May I say that you'll probably sing his name soon enough. Gervinho was the best player at Lille (on par with Hazard)... In fact he was easily one of the top players in ligue 1 this season if not the best player. Don't trust the journo's. Ask anyone who has seen ligue 1 this season (like me for example 8) ) and they will tell you Gervinho is anything but a shit signing.

Now may I add that in no way am I satisfied with just the signing of Gervinho! I expect at least another 3 exits and 3 players coming in!

Oh, and I'll finish by saying that Walcott IS a poor-man Gervinho rather than the opposite....

That's good news at least.

But at the end of last season our frailties were there for all to see. So we probably needed 3 experienced signings in key positions to improve things. If the 3 players now rumoured to be exiting really do leave then that makes 6 EXPERIENCED signings needed. And, while undoubtedly improving the squad, I'm not sure that Gervinho is even one of them...... :banghead: !

Worrying times.....

When the season ended, I thought (perhaps somewhat foolishly) 'Okay Wenger now "knows" without a shadow of doubt that he MUST MAKE MAJOR CHANGES - This appeared to be the case and so further enforced when Gazidis said there would be comings and goings this summer....

Then we hear various rumours that denilshyte, bendy bollocks, eboue the clown and maybe even almunia are on their way OUT!...so okay there's me thinking this is just the start ..Wenger has at long fuckin' last cottoned on to what we all knew 4 seasons ago......

Then there's all kinds of rumours about Samba, Mata, Gervinho, Oxlaide(sp?) Cahill, Barton etc etc coming in....

And while Wenger is twiddling his thumbs on French Radio & TV...fergie buys 2 players they 'need'...doing his business sharp & early...even the binippers are already doing business...

The chavscum get in a quality manager...who will surely spend the ole moolah on whom he needs...and now we could well become a feeder club for man shitty

and yet lo and behold - It's the 1st of July and who have we signed????????

And just to compound his seeming inability to 'act & buy quickly'...IF...IF we do sell those players....which should raise £55 - £60 million....he hasn't even broken into the £60mill that silent stan said he can spend...so with the possibilty of having a War Chest of £120 Million.....and the opportunity to get shot of the dross AND lessen the wage bill.....

We are still Up Wenger's Shitcreek without a feckin' paddle

I have not - nor will I ever forget - the wonderful times Wenger has brought to our club...But he seems to be hellbent on not only undoing all his hard work and destroying all his Great & Good Work, but he is without doubt turning the fans against him.....I truly NEVER EVER thought I would want him Out!...

But Please Wenger either flash the Cash BIG TIME or

please

PLEASE

PLEASE

FUCK-OFF!

I was a Gooner Loooooong before he came and will beloooong after he's gone...it just makes me sad and angry that he doesn't seem to be able to comprehend what all (non-AKB's & JCL's) Gooners know and have been saying for (at leasy) 4 seasons....the thing is it has (after the last 2 seasons especially) now got to the point where even if he does bring in 4 - 5 top TOP Quality players in the required positions...it just feels like already it is all too late.....and there was no need for it to get so FUCKIN' AWFUL...It just makes me feel so SAD!
