Very intertesting points on this thread.

Coming back to the May judgement as Wenger requested - the season is another failure. Simple as that. We have regressed.

Last season third. This season fourth. As has already been said, two Cup runs were achieved on the back of mediocre opposition. But when we come up against quality teams - Man U and Chelsea - we fold.

Is this what we want ? I assume everone agrees - it is not.

So things have to change.

I have said before, Wenger deserves one more season to prove he can make this Club compeitive again. But if he sits on his hands until September 1st and we only see another couple of 'teen dreams' whilst having to listen all closed season to Adeybayour belly-aching about Milan, only to be told by Wenger that Adey is staying because he's so committed to us and nothing changes. In other words deja-vu. Then next season will be a replay or worse of this one.


But there will be one big difference

Before the end, the fans will revolt. "One Arsene Wenger !" will be replaced by "Wenger Out !!"

Let's hope it does not come to that and that this closed season is a good and prodctive one for us. One, or two, new Central defenders, at least one CM, a new goal scorer and some of the dead-wood gone.
