No don't think they're at all like Karnivool. They're a Finnish band. Not sure if you've ever watched Jackass or know Bam Margera, but he's good friends with the band.

The singer reminds me of Johnny Depp in one of his dracula type movies.....for me, they kinda fall between Heavy Metal/Rock and something else.....
