Chants Would Be A Fine Thing

GREAT CHANT GUS. JUST MADE A COUPLE OF MINOR AMMENDMENTS TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE CURRENT:

He puts Eboue in. Keeps Theo out.

In, Out. In, Out

Now what's that all about?

To do the Eboue you just fall to the ground!

Even when there's no-one around!

Oh that fucking c**t Eboue!

Such a cheating c**t Eboue!

What a diving c**t Eboue!

Knees hurt. arms bruised argh argh argh.

Loving the remix Hlebster!

Mine was an impromtu performance but your carefully thought out lyrics deserve special praise!

Now who has the Away Boyz mobile number?

Apart from Tomas Rosicky!

Not really a fan of nicking other teams songs and definitely not a fan of pretty much anything the scousers do but I have to admit that Torres song they've got is pretty good - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUjRQfJ3f74

So for Eddie:
He’s from Rio via Zagreb
Eddie Eddie
He’s mates with Alexander Hleb
Eddie Eddie
He broke his leg but he’ll be back
And Robbie Keane will still be cack
Eduardo Da Silva Arsenal’s number 9
Na na na na, na na na na…

Given all the talk of "winning a trophy for Eduardo" etc think it might actually provide some inspiration for the team (& the man himself) if we actually had/have a decent song to sing for him between now & the end of the season (and beyond). Any takers?

Heard this myself on the tube from a load of scallies and it just backs up the problem that we have of coming up with some new songs and not the old ones rehashed with new players added.

Fair point W.G. I've seen quite a few good songs on here (in my opinion), getting them kickstarted at the Grove is the big problem though.

Not sure if the first few lines couldnt do with a change. Maybe to...
He came to us when Henry left
Eddie Eddie
We all said Arsene who the eff's
Eddie Eddie

I have my doubts any self-respecting football supporter would be prepared to say "eff" but unfortunately fcuk doesnt rhyme.

Feel free anyone to change the lyrics.

i like the eddie song actually, pretty good but yeh we do steal alot of songs and change the words, we need more of an imagination and people to actually sing the songs, like yday when clichy came on and we sung the song it was only redaction, it has the potential to be a good song but nobody else will sign, also like the hleb and flamini songs but again no noise. i think the away games could be the place to kick start these songs, similar to the adebayor song
sing up for the arsenal

Another one for Clichy...

To the Rod Stewart song Stay With Me - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_7PyYh5fTE :
Gael Clichy
Gael Clichy
Ohh-Ohh our left-back is Gael Clichy

Admittedly there's probably 101 better last lines out there if anyone feels like changing it - ie "...he's better than that c*nt cashley" & so on.

HOW ABOUT A COMBINATION OF THE TWO:

HE CAME TO US WHEN HENRY WENT
EDDIE, EDDIE,
AND SCORED MORE GOALS THAN DARREN BENT
EDDIE, EDDIE,
HE BROKE HIS LEG, BUT HE'LL BE BACK
AND DARREN BENT WILL STILL BE CACK
EDUARDO DE SILVA
ARSENAL'S NUMBER 9.

NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, NA NA, NA NA,
NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, NA NA, NA NA,
HE CAME TO ARSENAL FROM DINAMO
THE BOY SURE KNOWS HOW TO SCORE A GOAL
EDUARDO DE SILVA
ARSENAL'S NUMBER 9.

A ManUre mate of mine told me yesterday the Utd fans have a song for Anderson which ends in the line “…and he shits on Fabregas!â€

yh lets not have this, the faregas song aint bad tbh could be changed a bit but good start, the only problem is getting it sung, and like i said i think away games is the best place to start something so 2mra night at anfield, sing up for eddie, cesc clichy flamini and hleb with all the songs that have been suggested over the weeks cos they aint bad efforts and just need to be sung. cant make it 2mra so i wanna hear the songs on the box and ill sing along at home.

oh cesc fabregas your the love of my life
oh cesc fabregas id let you shag my wife
oh cesc fabregas i wish i could play football like you
