Stevo did this 1 go over your head it has to go on the list
McDowell, it did register with me but was such an obvious attempt to get me to bite and enter a Diarra vs Song debate.....but you're right its another for the list. Still not quite up there with our 'excellent back up CB' Johan Djourou - that was the belter of the day without doubt :D :D It received a king size bite from Augie which only serves to make it more amusing still :barscarf:

Not as expensive as £12m+ for the Ox who now appears to be third choice left midfielder behind 'people's champion' Ramsey and light bulb head

you can overplay OX....... if we do that, he will get more injured when he gets older....he is not finishing growing his muscles

Arsenal will have to break their transfer record to buy £17m-rated Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila. The France midfielder, 21, is also being tracked by Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

Would be worth every penny for that price. We could potentially have a world class defensive midfielder for the next 10 years. I've seen the lad play a number of times and he really is a Rolls Royce of a DM, incredible maturity and responsible play at such a young age. Shits on Song from a great height.

Did you ever see percy/gus from this forum play for Gooner FC ? Even in tartan shorts the immobile "ball winner" (or should that be ball scratcher ? ) pisses all over song as a DM

yesterday someone mentioned signing someone for 8m, today another player for 17m

this is too much to pay someone as a reserve DM. Makes more sense to break the wage structure to keep hold of Song

Is it ST renewal time?
'We have agreed a deal to sign Podolski' (we had also agreed to sign Mata)
'M'Vila is close to Arsenal'
'Vertonghen tracked by Arsenal'

LOL

You all know how this one ends: with Olivier Giroud, new contracts for the rubbish Walcott, Papa Diakite and the new Gervinho from a rubbish French team all signed. Oh and a new contract for Chamakh...if Djourou could get one...

I laugh at anyone who thinks 'this summer will be different'.

How has Wenger started this great Arsenal clear-out he is supposed to be conducting?

Answer: by awarding new lucrative contracts to Djourou and Rosicky, whilst negotiating increased offers for Song and Walcott.

It will be profits as usual. RVP to be sold for £30 mil, Podolski to be signed for £10 mil. £20 mil profits is my prediction.
You'll all get mugged off AGAIN. Goldfish brains Arsenal fans at times, amazing how they never ever learn from history...

Btw does anyone actually bother even taking into account the guff Plem Member comes out with still?
I think we should break the wage structure for Ramsey and Fabianski too...

I don't why we should be concerned about not being able to hold on Song. Has any top side shown any interest in signing him?

Red, lights the match once more and stands back to watch the reaction :D

I'm not even going to begin to bite my friend, but thought I would read you this little extract from your hero Feo Feo's book, regarding the reserve DM I mentioned for £8m:

"If there's one player I think even the Boss might regret letting go, its probably Lassana Diarra. I have never seen such a hard-working centre midfielder as him. He was so small but so strong. Unbelievably good"

Now, I know you wouldn't listen to me, but surely you'd listen to the words of one of your "big 3 players" :D

I agree with every word in that statement - the best all round midfielder we have had since Patrick Vieira, but sadly our 'managerial genius' managed to piss off both him and Flamini in the same season as having already sold Gilberto....but never fear Song was the man to fill the void that 3 international class players, and we managed to sign The People's Champion from Championship Cardiff City for the same price we got for the established French international.

Thats what I call a genius

well i agree Diarra was a good player, a shame he ever left, but maybe he is not as good as he used to be?

you should have watched the fans forum last night on the official website - the majority of callers were saying that after RVP , Alex Song was the Arsenal player of the season :D

Just shows alot of people know fuck all about football. I bet they were all too busy calling him "Songinho" to even bother considering the gaping space he constantly leaves infront of our back 4?
