I really cant see us winning this winning this one. Especially with Sagna out. I'd rather us be in CL obviously but at the same time maybe a year out wouldn't do us so bad. We could put more effort into being more consistent in the league and maybe winning the FA cup or league cup. The worse case scenario in my opinion would be to finish in the Europa League. If we had the bottle to sign the big players a club like Arsenal deserves then CL football would be essential next season but because we rely on making (or trying to make) great players it wouldn't be disruptive to our 'plan' for just one season.

2-1 to the Baggies :( :(

Its not an option

I don’t care about CL all I care about if finishing above them lot

If we don’t beat WB and they finish above us it will be the lowest point for us since 1995 and to be honest back then wouldn’t be as bad as this

If it was just Newcastle fighting us then I see your point

But no way, this is a must win at all costs game. Biggest game since the CL final

Nervous as fuck!

Fair point, its a good thing that Spurs are as bad as us when it comes to bottling the crucial games

I take it you agree with Wenger then that a top 4 position is more important than winning anything then.
personally I thought the 2007 and 2011 Carling Cup finals were bigger than Sunday. thats the way football is going though

do you just read?

This is far bigger than the 07/11 games. You dont feel our pain when it comes to them down the road red.

Finishing above them and getting 3rd will be bigger than anything since 2006.

Only becuase of them down the road and what the outcome is

if we lose and they win , it will be the LOWEST point for us since 1995!!!!!!!!!!!! worse than losing to brum 2011 and worse than losing to chavs 07

jesus! do you not care if they finish above and claim out spot? it would be disgusting, hold on im going to be fucking sick at the thought. :banghead:

The biggest game since we lost the CL final in 2006?

So if its a place in the CL that everyone craves then surely all of the play-off matches we've had to qualify for the CL were more important. Udinese, Celtic etc

stevo - you know my views on things

i dont give a fuck about CL and you know where i sit with regards to wenger

the game is big on sunday as its a battle between those cnuts down the road. Yes its CL spot but its what it means by getting there "THIS SEASON" any other situation and i wouldnt give a fuck

i hate them down the road more than anything and beating wb and claiming 3rd spot after there so called best season in 50 years will make my fucking summer

i havnt wanted to win a game more since 2006 final

Just had this awful thought come to my mind......

In 2006 the scum bottled it away from home while we did the job at Highbury and ended up finishing above them AND achieving CL football while they missed out.

6 years on we find ourselves in the exact same situation but with the roles reversed; we're playing away and they're at home and the man who put them out of the CL that day (Yossi) will be lining up for us this time...

Could it be?

Yep, and remember the team that beat them were called "West" something as well, plus the manager of the Spuds that day, Martin Potato-head Jol is now Fulham manager and keen to help out his old employers....

...alternatively we could just show some fucking balls and go and beat an average West Brom side with fuck all to play for :banghead:

Its all about team selection and tactics this Sunday ,without saying what who he should put in he must NOT ! ! !
aaa) Play Ramsey as a left sided midfielder .............or play him at all .
bbb) Play Djourou as a right back
ccc) Start with Walcott

Any or all of the above could end in disaster or the last 20 min lottery as we hurl the kitchen sink up front !
