Arshavin seems to enjoy playing in tournaments. Could a good Euro revive him?

Great pass for the second goal, playing in his preferred position too.

Liam Brady is here commentating for Irish Tv and he didn't hold out any hope for Arshavin to play for Arsenal again.

Should I have put that in the rumours thread

I still think Wenger fucked him over by shafting him out on the wing all of the time.

Spot on mate if anyone was played out of position week after week it would kill their game and maybe their motivation

Czechs midfield getting ripped apart, like watching Arsenal. Plasil is their Alex Song, runs around aimlessly and fails to track runners or hold his position.

Oh Arsene... you played Ramsey in the attacking midfield position week after week instead of Arshavin? This guy is a quality playmaker.

Arsenal fans got on Clichy's back but he went to Mancini, who turned him into a consistent, solid, title winning left back.

Arshavin is a deeply talented player who sometimes lacks motivation. What he needs is a top manager with excellent man management skills.

Instead though, he got the clown who after a 4-4 at Newcastle and 8-2 at OT, said 'nothing' to his players in the dressing room. The best most talented players will continue to leave Wenger's creche, as Wenger is more content managing the likes of Gervinho and Song.

Really makes me wonder why Arsenal fans gave Arshavin such a hard time, but never looked to the real cause of the problem? Here's another question: do you think that under Fergie or a Mourinho, that Arshavin would ever have delivered such apathetic performances?

Arshavin lost interest in playing for us when he had that really bizarre stint as striker. I don't buy that out of position thing, just think he couldn't care less, won't play for the manager or for the fans.
