Montpellier v Arsenal match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

bould and TA used to rotate with O'Leary and then later with Keown. not a bad thing imho given the kicks and crap they get.

I agree....my point was more that our defence has improved to the extent we can be confident with the options on the bench.

this. we always talk about the famous back four, but never mention that we had o'leary, linighan and keown as backup depending on when, meaning we always had 3 good centrehalves. it is necessary, and i feel good about our 3 options.

I'll agree with you once Kos is back up and running.

Re: POLL: WOULD YOU GIVE ARSENE WENGER A NEW CONTRACT
... just a fetish of yours despite the fact you dont seem to rate any of the players? Both. (only part Frog mind) :barscarf: P.S: Benzema is quality, Belhanda is who Wenger should have signed from Montpellier he's class and Menez is half decent!
Just remembered this quote from Babatunde just after that recent chance by Montpellier

Think it must be because of Diaby's booking. He's not looked confident to make a tackle in the 2nd half
