FRIMPONG: TO BE SOLD or GO ON LOAN?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They sign a contract and think they have now been successful and start concentrating more on their image/twatter/merchandising/TV/stupid slogan/acting gangsta etc and the actual football bit becomes secondary to them.

We need to go back to young players getting paid fuck all, cleaning senior pro's boots, earning their contracts and getting decent money ONLY after proving on the pitch they are worth it.

FrimpSong and his Dench bollocks, Bendtner and his pink boots... gobshites. :x
meanwhile in the 21st century...

Yeah, I know - it sounds very dated, but still, I'd say we would get a better return if we went back to that system. I know it will never ever happen, but the basic root cause of so many young players not making it at the top level nowdays is attitude. They are handed everything, they don't develop a strong enough work ethic or hunger to succeed. Wrighty on the Chris "PLEASE FUCKING LOOK AT ME NOW, DADDY!!" Kamara show said "if you fail now as a young player it is your fault because the clubs have put literally everything in place to help you succeed".

If we can afford to keep (and pay) the like sof squillaci and arshavin etc etc (yes I know they're gone now - but we paid them to do nothing for god knows how many seasons) :banghead: :banghead:

I think we should keep Dench and play him against scum teams like the inbreds/and scum and have him kick the holy shyte out of anything that isn't in the Arsenal 's Red&White and moves.

Sorrrted!

arshavin scored our only goal of the game v swansea at home
made the pass to rvp for our only goal at home to qpr
and put in the cross for henry to score the winner at sunderland in that season 11/12 when we were a 1 man team?

Ah yes, I remember when Vorm decided to give Arshavin the ball and let him roll it into an empty net from the edge of the box. To be fair it was the only way he's been able to score a PL goal in the last two seasons. What a man.
