As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
i was originally agianst the idea as i thought it was time to move on but if henrys return means no gervinho (although isnt he away on anc duty) then im well up for king henrys return.watching podolskis five mins on saturday, with his intelligent runs and use of the ball it made me realise what henry brings to the table,so im saying 'yes ' now athough it only reflectys how piss poor we are these days
Word on the street is it's deffo gonna happen but that we now want him on loan for the rest of the season.... I am actually losing the will to live as I type this...
Don't get me wrong, the man is a legend, our second best ever player (after God 10 ) but he is now not the answer to our striker problem. Our club is fucking every one of us, and I'm not talking third date post-romantic dinner type fucking, I'm talking drunken gang rape with power-fisting type fucking.
I love the shock and surprise that TH14 is going to be our January signing.
Listen to your uncle SteveO:
Walcott sold
Henry on loan
Only possible permanent signing will be Zaha and we'll waste our entire transfer kitty on him and then spend the next 3 years wondering why he isn't good enough to be a first team regular
There will however be one very important signing between now and the 1 June......no other than Lord Wenger until 2017
One Arsene Wenger........There's Only One Arsene Wenger

SteveO, do you actually ever read the posts on this forum? I don't recall anyone expressing shock or surprise, just anger, dissapointment and frustration.

Just hard to get angry about something that is so entirely predictable - to be honest we are just such a fucking laughing stock on and off the field these days that what once was pain is now just becoming humourous. I think we've actually got folk on here that developing a worse 'self harm' habit than Wenger. No doubt if we bounce back Alan Partridge to seal that glorious VT at Newcastle, people will be saying that he deserves more time to turn it round and that in the Summer he'll definitely sort out the issues in the squad

This is Wenger trying to detract media and fan attention from his own glaring incompetence, and in doing so is running the risk of tarnishing the memory of a legend, TH14 got away with some sluggish appearances on his last loan spell thanks to a few important goals, a year older and indeed slower and this spell could be just embarrassing.

This. Whilst he hardly set the place alight last year after a string of substitute appearances, the goals against Leeds & Sunderland added a couple more goals to his record & he left without really doing any damage to his reputation. Coming back for a 3rd time just smacks of desperation & papering over the cracks. I don't really want my memories of an all-time legend tarnished by a few months of lumbering, sub standard performances all because Wenger is too cheap & stubborn to buy the players we really need rather than an elastoplast signing.

Then we can sell him on to CRYSTAL PALACE oh hang on
