I'm happy with our form on the road'
Arsène Wenger insists he is pleased with his team’s results away from home in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal take on Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Monday night in the knowledge that only Manchester City have lost fewer games on the road this term.
Wenger is content with how his side have performed away from Emirates Stadium but admits that his team’s home form must improve if they are to climb the table.
“I believe I have a strong team,” he said. “If you look at our season at the moment, we have not produced our performances at home, our results away are in the same bracket as the two top teams.
“Manchester United are top of the league. They have lost three games, we have lost four. We had more draws, especially at home, that is where we have lost the points.”
Even his luvvie mates at the Evening Standard are struggling to defend him on this one. Away points:
Manchester United 21
Manchester City 20
Arsenal 10
Yep, Arsene...having half the number of away points is clearly in 'the same bracket'
Has someone forgotten to give him his tablets today?

Re: Reading Away Thread
Reading are bottom. Regardless of our problems, this should be 3pts in the bag. Then again, Bradford are a 4th division team...

Re: Reading Away Thread
I'm on a terrible run with regards gambling. 5-1 Reading are tonight I really think its worth 5 quid at least.
This game is so hard to predict, Reading are in terrible form 5 defeats in a row, and as such desperate for a win. They badly need a win. But they're shite , really poor defensively if we hammered them it wouldnt be a massive surprise.
I really dont have confidence in this team especially away from home. We were very lucky to beat WBA.
I'm going for a Reading win I think.

Happy Birthday BG!
Fullers, a good brewery.
Their Chiswick Bitter is nice slightly chilled, drunk alongside a meal.

Re: Reading Away Thread
Going to follow in others' footsteps and keep myself busy doing something else tonight.
Re: Reading Away Thread
Going to watch it purely for comedic reasons. Time to kick-start Reading's season as we did for Norwich!
