As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I see your point completely but I can't agree with this way of thinking!
Do you honestly think if we finish 5th wenger will go? Of course he won't! All it means is we will have finished below the scum, have less money to spend on players and have less players to chose from to buy!
We are Stuck with wenger, no amount of protests trophies will change this iF you ask
Me!
If there was a match at home following then if the ensuing discontent was aired at a sufficient level - ie banners / songs " you don't know what you're doing" with boo's etc may well have pushed Arsene sufficienty to the point where he believes (overall, obviously) that we do not deserve him for another season.
Unfortunately there is no home match till the Love fest that is the Emirates Cup, so it ain't gonna happen.
I will be gutted, If we don't finish in the top four. The thought of all the spud fans gloating and celebrating like theyv'e won the prem, would be too much to take.
Please win, anyway and anyhow.

Dont know who the geordies played in those games but I would suggest that having a run of fixtures against wigan, qpr, villa and norwich (to name just four) might help us have a good goals for to goals against ratio

Have to admit that this is as low as I have felt about footie in general for a long long time Cant seem to get enthused about anything to do with the game (not just AFC) at the mo so I would like to apologise to those who log on here just to feed off my all round positivity

Too right.
Maybe we should lock The Forum from May 21 until August 2nd?
Mate's offered a spare ticket for the cricket so I'll be missing the whole fucking thing
And as it's Lords there shouldn't be any annoying checking the scores from the "oikball" every five minutes. Even the non cricket lovers on here should see the attraction of being lost in a drunken haze for the afternoon, while completely oblivious to events at St James's and the swamp

Fat Geordie owner mike Ashley has promised a £1m bonus to be paid out to non football staff tomorrow IF they beat us I guess that just raises the pressure/intensity another notch or two cos their players will not want to be seen as letting the staff down. Is this an anti AFC based proposal ?

Doubt it.
More likely that the extra £4M Newcastle could earn by giving us a heavy beating and finishing up the league is a strong incentive to Ashley, and he is trying to motivate his team in a game that will be hard for the players to be motivated for.
