As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
..."I’m at a healthy club, which plays beautiful football, doesn’t lose money every year, sticks to its own budget and plays in the Champions League. Not many players can say the same."
Like that makes any real difference to a player when considering a move!!
Looks like it's read from a script... Either that or he's been brainwashed by Wenger and Gazidis
Reckon Kos will stck around a bit but its a warning. Really dont think hes good enough for some of the clubs that hes reported to be linked with (Barcelona?! )
On his day he can be one of the best defenders in the PL, but hes to inconsistent and can still have ays when hes absoloutely awful. Has a tendency to be outmuscled by more physical strikers a la Drogba too.

agree!!!! if a player plays well for half a season, then he wants to play for barcawhores ect....be sensible and earn your fat money
Kos is the player we should build a defence around - turns up in big games (that Citeh feck up aside)
and potentially world class, thinking Barca at home, Citeh away, last day scoring v Wigan + Newcastle away (was awesome at St James) when we needed him most
Very good player but with potential character flaws when it's really needed.
as evidenced when silverware was in sight. Still ,he's not the only one of Lord Genius's recent recruits to fall at the final hurdle. They just find such new and interesting ways to show us up

I don't think any of our defenders turned up in a big way when we decided to gift two-goal leads to United, Citeh, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool at various stages this season.
Until we start turning 2 goals conceded against the top teams into 1s and clean sheets then I personally am reticent to view our end-of-season form as anything other than that - form.

those games were far more important than the league cup F-up...

Really? Surely if he hadn't have fucked up in that final and we went on to win the thing then, as well as getting the 'trophy drought monkey' off our back, it would have given the players confidence to push on and possible win other stuff, or at least sustain a better challenge? It might also have enabled us to keep one or two of the players that have subsequently left as they could see the club were moving forward in the right direction rather than talking a big game off the pitch but actually standing still/stagnating on it, as has been the case since that final.
