Van judas, would you welcome him back?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Swiftly, the reasons I believe that wenker will sign him are -

1. We need a quality striker
2. Wenger has lots of history of re-signing his ex players
3. Rvp will reach out to wenker in the summer looking to come back and I'm absolutely convinced of that
Point 3 is interesting. Given the lack of options perhaps this is the best we can hope for. Interesting that Chelsea are top without any of their strikers doing much but i digress.

Except when he was there. And they loved him.

But then he left and they don't like him.

God damned fickle *word censored*.
Hmmm. Okay then so if one of your best mates had a girl that he loved and cared for over many years, one that he stuck by through all her problems and hospital visits etc .... then she dumped him and went off with someone she considered was better placed to give her what she felt she deserved now she was over all her problems ... would you say your mate was a dickhead if he didnt want to get back with the girl after he relationship with her new fella turned sour? Would he be fickle because he once loved her but now didnt want to know her?

The fickle thing doesnt apply to me anyway in this case as I thought RvP was prick when he was at Arsenal. He was petulant, immature and injured for large parts of his Arsenal career so he was not someone I ever warmed to.

And on another point anyone who ever bought into him being an Arsenal fan needs to face the reality that players do not think the way fans do. Especially a Dutch boy claiming he supported a team from another country. Being pictured wearing an Arsenal shirt as a boy proves nothing:-
Sorry man, haven't logged in since I didn't remember I posted the above.

Even if I hadn't, I'm not sure I would have been able to since I stopped laughing at your reply.

Girlfriends, analogy's, etc. Its top class.

Imagine you're the girlfriend and you get promised like, I don't know, loads of shit.

We're gonna go Paris when you're well, Venice won't be too much, how about Australia holiday of a lifetime. I love you babes.

But then the reality hits, Paris? Portsmouth. Venice? Little Venice. Australia? Australia. That poor bastard got promised some serious make up sex but got a Vietnamese lady boy instead, whilst he was still wearing the blindfold.

And no matter what DB10Gooner might tell you, that's not a good feeling.

Van Persie got lied to like the rest of us. But when he calls them on it, he's a *word censored*. Go figure.
