The times they aren't a changing quickly enough for my liking or people would stop being pretentious and say his music is boring as f**k and if I wasn't some wannabe f**king hippy I'd say so.

If you want to be proper dopeheads roll one up and listen to The Chronic.
I've never liked Dylan the singer. That fucking atonal nasally whine of his. But he is a brilliant songwriter. I've heard some great covers of his music over the years, sung by better singers than he.
Topgoon you are getting cunted for that post.
DB I have to disagree on Dylan as a singer, (admittedly his voice has gone now) but had a totally unique voice, which conveyed his lyrics like no cover ever could (not even my karaoke party piece "like a rolling stone")
Greatest songwriter of all time in my book, closely followed by Elvis Costello.
Can't wait to go an see him next month. :barscarf:

Good call. In the few weeks leading up to Christmas it is not worth listening to the radio. It is full of shit. And more shit. And even more shit. :banghead:
Depends. Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, George Winston, etc. - there's some absolute masterpieces to be found among christmas songs.

R n B stopped being made about the mid 80s. Everything else that purports to be RnB since is usually w*nk.
Oi! NO!

R 'n' B (aka Rhythm and Blues) is still being played today and has been since the 30's

so F*ck Orf!

And have to agree with Goonersid re: Dylan not only did he have a unique voice - suited to his songs and the genre's he spanned...but his abilities as a song writer are supreme.

so again F*ck Orf!

Naaah mate she dumped the miserable *word censored* years ago...he almost went into melt down over it...

As a humn/person he is an ignorant crunt of the highest order - as a song writer he is a master of his craft.

Just listen to Hyndeford Street, September Night, Rave On, Stranded, to name but a few gems in his catalogue of songs.

He's also a right feckin Bread Head and has his own Lawyer on call 24/7 - I know of someone who suffered his (legal) wrath...and believe me you don't wanna mess with the culchie goat molesting *word censored*.

The genres of Reggae and Funk have produced some of the greatest ever songs.

But Simply Red (Pop Soul and ballads) and Jamiroquoi (Pop Soul with a hint of BritFunk) are about as relevant as examples as is talking of YaYa Sanogo and great Arsenal strikers.

Don't play semantics here DJQuartzyJizz! :banghead:

Further, the genres of Reggae and Funk have not produced any of the greatest ever songs. EVER. They have produced many of the most godawful shite songs ever though. :x

Clyde Stubblefield, James Brown, Fred Wesley, Eddie Hazel, Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham, Bobbi Humphrey, Donald Byrd, Maceo Parker, Andre Cymone, Bernie Worrell, Chuck Brown, Mack Carey and so many other musicians reduce your statement to exactly what it is, a personal taste belonging to none other than Sir Nose D'voidoffunk.

But would you consider any of them to be dangerous in a rap battle? :D
