What end are we being given? been offered a couple of club wembley tickets but want to make sure its our end before I accept! anyone know ?
Re: Cup final tickets
Brilliant...except that in the late 1970's the club only allowed people to have a season tickets in the stands. Anyone who stood on the North Bank, Clock End, East Side etc had to take their chances with collecting vouchers out of the programmes. And, as others have said, many just collected programmes and didn't actually go to games! Don't be fooled by the move to the Grove, the club have always "put money ahead of its long term loyal followers"! Maybe they are just better at doing it these days.clockender1 wrote: When we still had class, the club limited ST's to 22,000 so that every ST holder was guaranteed a ticket if they wanted one.
but of course when we sold our soul to go to the bowl, the club once again put money ahead of its long term loyal followers and scrapped all that nonsense.
Anyway, WTF right did Hill-Wood have for giving a couple of tickets away to his bank manager when I and others had to queue for hours with no guarantee of a ticket....!!!

Re: Cup final tickets
I remember as a youngster when you had to queue outside the Clock End turnstiles for wembley tickets back in the 70s and 80s.
Oddly, they chose just half an hour after a game to start selling.
People left the game early to stand in the queue, which built up to the end of Avenell Road.
Then the game finished, everyone poured out of the stadium, and it was bedlam as people simply jumped the queue.
Survival of the fittest. How times have changed.

What makes my fucking blood boil is the corporate packages being sold by Thomas Cook Sport. £800 for a ticket, a programme and a room? And yet they say that selling tickets at FV is illegal. Absolutely disgraceful, blatant touting

Club Wembley aren't in either end, it's the equivalent of Club Level. The Arsenal and Hull allocations are for the clubs only, no corporates/club wembley tickets in there.elpelsarmy wrote:What end are we being given? been offered a couple of club wembley tickets but want to make sure its our end before I accept! anyone know ?
No idea who you will be sandwiched between (it's the middle tier I think) but take them anyway

Hull have 25k seats which is less than a third of the stadium. Club Wembley will be 75% gooners, 24% corporate tossers claiming to be gooners (but just there for the free food and beer and) 1% Hull City. So you will be pretty unlucky to have hull fans above and below you. I expect the rest of the stadium to be mainly gooners.skizz_b wrote:Club Wembley aren't in either end, it's the equivalent of Club Level. The Black Market starts around £400, but i'm not doing anything until the ballot has been sorted by Arsenal. There are gonna be loads of gooners in their end.

If you're flying down/over for the final, the airline are entitled to refuse boarding if you're under the influence or the worse for wear. The decision should be made by the boarding gate staff but they frequently turn a blind eye or ignore it and let the cabin crew deal with it. Again, they or the captain can refuse you carriage.

Just registered interest for 2 gold memberships (won't qualify for phase1) so will go into ballot. Don't forget you register your interest - should have received email. Forgive me if I'm stating the blindly fucking obvious!

As far as I can see they are an Irish Travel agent so I doubt anyone on here could comment on them.manninger wrote:Hey fellow Gooners....

But looking at their website, they are offering Club Wembley seats and accomodation for under 700 euros which if you are travelling from outside the UK doesn't seem that bad.
Black market prices are upwards of 500 euros in the UK, and they are illegal sales.

Ditto, when you look at the website on the 30th it will show the status of each membership. So what do you do when 2 out of the 3 applications are sucessful!Lee1 wrote:Just registered interest for 2 gold memberships (won't qualify for phase1) so will go into ballot. All I can think of is hull wont sell their allocation and we might get a few more.
