Kim Kallstrom has made just four appearances for Arsenal this season.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger says Kallstrom won't return once loan ends.
Swede had a back injury when he signed for Arsenal in January.

Barcelona's 22-year-old forward Cristian Tello could be set to spark a transfer scramble between Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal after telling his club he won't stay if Gerardo Martino remains in charge.

Full story: Daily Express

Tello isn't coming

Loic Remy

Linked by Match of the Day 2 last night, spotted sitting in a box at the West Brom game, Lineker and Fowler thought it likely he would sign for us.

Unofficially our "most linked" player ever.

What a fantastic signing Kallstrom was! Turns up injured, turns out to be as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. All the scouts we have, working 24hrs a day and all Wonga came up with was Kallstrom. Seriously, Arseole Wonga is no football manager, not one bit.

I am speechless. We have the money and yet we signed a injured player who made just 4 appearances and contributed nothing. It doesn't take a genius to realize what a useless manager he has become. The worst thing is we have few more years of nightmares to endure before we can finally wake up

The thing is with the transfer market for quality players is that it always goes up and this year it jumped about 20 percent .
It will go up again as it always does in a world cup year !

It means that if like Arsenal you have had Cash in the bank last year ,this year will buy you less and less player since return on the Cash we have runs @ less than 4pct thats even if we are investing in overnight markets etc .

By NOT spending we are losing furthjer ground .

Wenger will not change and has allready said he needs only 2 or 3 players more which is madness when u consider we will lose a minimum of 4 players from the squad Sagna,Bendy,Flappy,Dijourou, not to mention the never seens like ryo/park .......... of the loanees the only one to boost the squad could be cambell or possibly coq as a midfield cover.

Its all set up nicely for another season of shit

Bender isn't coming :
Arsene Wenger has suffered a crushing setback to his summer transfer plans after Lars Bender announced he will remain at Bayer Leverkusen next season.
I guess he thinks 4th place in the Bundesliga is a better prospect than us, that or Pod told him, don't do it mate....

not exactly queuing up for us are they ?

In our fluid system I reckon he can play upfront on his own. He's not going to push CB's around like Giroud but he's got the technical ability and movement to make it work a la Suarez. Also he's played mainly as a RW and occasionally as a LW for Sociedad so he's versatile. We can stick Feo on the left and Vela on the right and that would work just fine too.

Just because he didn't cut it first time doesn't mean he never will. Chavs let Matic go for a pittance when he was younger and brought him back for a king's ransom after he aced it in the Portuguese league and corrected their mistake. Vela is smashing it in the best league in the world and luckily we have a cheap buy back clause inserted in the deal.
La Liga is not the best league in the world and Vela is not what we need.
See CL finalists. Also Europa League finalist.
Doesn't mean a thing.

Really doesn't reflect the quality of La Liga as a whole compared to the EPL does it?
Premier League is more physical, La Liga is better technically and tactically.

Teams like Hull, Stoke, Palace, Norwich, Cardiff, Fulham, West Brom wouldn't survive in La Liga.

Out of interest which do you think is the best league?
I don't agree La Liga is tactically better than the Premier League. La Liga only really has about three really good teams: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athetlico Madrid. The rest of the top 8 teams aren't that good and/or are very inconsistent due to the sale of star players to better Spanish clubs or other clubs across Europe.

The likes of Valencia, Seville, Sociedad are teams that come and go every couple of years.

The Premier League is fast paced, defensively stronger and more unpredictable than other leagues. Last nights score wouldn't of happened in La Liga.

I think the Premier League is the best league in the world, not because I'm English, not because Arsenal are in it but because it is exciting, unpredictable, and not entirely dominated by two teams.

So Bender isn't coming to the Arse...... :rubchin:

Crushing setback is over egging the pudding by the Liverpool Echo....sorry I meant Daily Mirror, but if he's had as sh*t a season as he implies then probably best he stay where he is.

I can't remember them ever queueing up for us sadly. If Schneiderlin was up for it, I'd take him over Bender, knows the league.

Having reviewed that last sentence, it reads a little bit on the gay side  But I shall leave it there.

All open to interpretation. Some say the Premier League is the best league in the world cos it's the most competitive with some unpredictability intertwined every year. The counter point to that is it don't have the best teams in the world and that La Liga has better teams, Barca and Madrid, than anything in the Premier League so therefore La Liga is a better league as it contains teams that would win the Premier League with ease. The counterpoint to La Liga is that its boring, entertainment-wise, with the predictability in the league.

It's an argument no one can win.

Is he though? We all know we're only going to sign one striker this year, I don't want it to be him. I'm not naive enough to think we're gonna go out and sign a genuinely world class striker but equally I am still gonna set my stall higher than Vela. It may not be much money on the line but if he comes and can't cut it (again) we'll be stuck with at least another 2 seasons of watching sub-standard strikers.
but at just 3m it doesn't matter if he flops, knowing Wenker nobody is coming so id take vela over nobody.what a fucking piss poor money grabbing club we've become

Who has been whinging? I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I haven't personally seen complaints on the forum.
