Remember when Ferguson put out a team against us with 7 defenders in it? They won 2-0SPUDMASHER wrote:I wouldn't worry too much Augie, we'll still give them three points regardless of the side that they put out.
We are in the same position with Manure that the spuds were with us for 10 years. We have a psychological block with them and have usually lost before the game even starts.

With the injuries both teams have and the inability of either to defend I think this will be a ridiculously open game and will finish 2-2 or 3-3 or United winning by a goal or two but Arsenal scoring at least two.
Said many times on this forum and elsewhere the failure of Arsenal to not beat or even score against Moyes' United is indicative of the inferiority complex we have against them.

Agreed. Remember the 8-2? It was similar that day. Very open. They were pretty average (compared to manure sides of old) but we were so bad that day it was comedic. The score could have been 8-5. Their defence and midfield were THAT open but we failed to convert those chances and our half assed team were even more open.Bradywasking wrote:With the injuries both teams have and the inability of either to defend I think this will be a ridiculously open game and will finish 2-2 or 3-3 or United winning by a goal or two but Arsenal scoring at least two.

I'm going for either 4-2 to them or 2-2.

Re: MAN UTD HOME
they will score early doors and so we will go all out to try and turn things around - we'll somehow scrape it back to 1 -1 via (a)nother goal from Alexis - then that well drilled defensive system that wenger has employed these past 8 seasons will kick in and they will score in the 89th minute.... ............some will boo - some will leave early...wenger will go nowhere...and make the usual madman excuses....he didn't see it - the reffing was poor...we were a leeetle bit jaded....two of our players got injured by paper planes thrown onto the pitch by careless and wreckless supporters who know nothing about football because they have not been in football for 30years.....the world and his dog will shake their head sin disbelief - well everyone that is except wenger Kreonke and Gazidis (aka: 666) and wenger's agent.
The manurescum fans will enjoy their trip home all the way back to essex whilst we Gooner spend even more mney trying to drown our sorrows to point of Black-Out and Forgetfulness.
Un-Happy Days Indeed.

the best result long term for us will be Van Persie to score the winning goal on Saturday

Not for me it wouldn't.Gunner Rob wrote:the best result long term for us will be Van Persie to score the winning goal on Saturday
I'd rather get turned over 4-0 with him not registering than lose 1-0 and see that bastard skidding all over the pitch as he nets the winner.

Agreed 100%. VanJudasCunt scoring the winner would have exactly 0% positive long term benefit for the club. He's done it before and what changed? Nothing. So I'd rather not have to endure the vomit inducing sight of that period breath fucktard hugging the bald granny molester on our turf.officepest wrote:Not for me it wouldn't.Gunner Rob wrote:the best result long term for us will be Van Persie to score the winning goal on Saturday

People on here need to just accept that barring a miracle from any possible protest (unlikely tbh) Wenger will leave when Wenger decides to leave. Sad, but true.

Had an awful feckin' nightmare last night - and the more I have had to think about it the more likely I think it may just come true.....
We beat manure in the final minute of the game and then scrape a win against Dortmund - Wenger smirks his way through all the interviews - and as you say we are stuck with the *word censored* till he decides it's time.

This will mark the 10th (near enough) anniversary of Shrek's dive to end the invincible run. Dean will probably give him the chance for a repeat performance.
