MAN UTD AWAY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Coquelin and Monreal just about non-existent. Utd players getting the freedom to run wherever they want through that area of the pitch.

Lack of tempo and passion is not the same as lack of respect and penetration as you seem to say has been suggested
I have long since bemoaned our lack of proper wingers but a lack of wingers does not explain a lack of guts and tempo

the saddest thing of all is that weve been here so many times before and yet Arsole doesn't learn,we know by now full well we wont turn this around where as a team with fire in their belly like stoke or west brom youd fancy to do it BUT NEVER EVER US THAT CAN DO IT,11 YEARS OF MEDIOCREITY AND IT WILL CONTINUE NEXT SEASION AND SO ON AND SO FORTH

Valencia, Young - quick
Willian, Hazard, Costa - quick
Aguero, Navas - quick
And last year, Suarez, Sturridge - quick
Giroud - not very quick at all. Making that lump Jones look like Usain Bolt.

That's the difference. Put Aguero into the side and we'd have won the league. Seriously.

OK, he might nod one in late on, but I think the days of the big No.9 are gone. (Apart from in North London, that is).

Walcott and Rosicky on please.

Regardless of what players line up or regardless of how good/shit the players are and regardless of what system/formation we use, a good manager would light a fire under his players at half time and at least see his players tear into the opposition in the second half - le cock is simply unable to motivate his players when the situation demands it :(

Please, regardless of how this game ends up, don't use tiredness/fatigue/staleness as an excuse or defence of the team

This is what I try to explain to people. I always hear "oh, we're just one or two players away from challenging for the title" every fucking summer. But we say the same thing every fucking year. How many different personnel combinations have we seen over the past decade or so? And always the same outcome. What's the one constant? AW...

In Wenger you have a manager who's good enough to get you top 4 but for a multitude of reasons he lacks the extra 15% needed to deliver a real title-winning team.
