PALACE AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Coquelin has morphed into a mixture of all the worst CDMs we've seen limp around in that position in recent years - the pace and touch of Song, the braindead lunges of Flamoney and the desire to perform Hollywood dribbles and passes on the edge of his own area like Ramsey or JW10.

I said it even last year when he performed half decently there - this bloke isn't up to 50 games as a first choice player in that position.

Now we're under the cosh I see we've reverted to the tip tap and attempts to dribble through six Palace players on the edge of the box

A fit striker would see us 2 or 3 up, Sanchez in a month maybe would have put away his chances.
Coq is a red waiting to happen
Ozil's still a lazy bastard
Half time report reads like my old school reports : could and should do better...but probably wont!!

In the same way Chambers was getting rinsed by Montero at Swansea last season before ultimately costing us the game, Coquelin is an inevitable second half sending off waiting to happen.

I'm sure the man who has worked in football for 30 years has spotted that though

I was that *word censored*, and your "prediction" is a total joke - much as you seem to be.

coquelin morphing into mong here. shite performance

this match is giroud's bread and butter. if he don't get a brace today then its a fucking disgrace , he'll have more than enough chances, and we know he ain't scoring against any of the big teams this season as per fucking usual

Another ref and he could have been off already,he wont get another chance I'm sure, you can guarantee that c*nt Pardew was in the refs ear at half-time too,

Having seen their goal again Kosielney is a fucking bottle job,it wasnt even anywhere near his face,he should be fucking ashamed.

Completely outplayed? We should be 4 up and are dominating possession FFS
just because you have possession it dosnt mean you are 'outplaying' someone. there game plan is proving far more effective than ours
Agreed. But if you have all the possession and all the chances including shots blocked off the line and concede to the oppositions only attempt on goal it's hard to justify that we are being totally outplayed as you said despite it being frustrating as fuck.

in the same way it takes 20 passes to get up field then 1 tackle and 1.5 seconds and a strong penetrating run later we concede

ps cech partially at fault for goal....a complete waste of money already

I'm pissed off because this should be over. Palace are shit and have given us enough chances to win two games. I think we will score in the second half, but out defence is just shocking sp good chance we won't win this :banghead:

Rather that than Mong MKII sleepwalking into a red card.

Overall I believe that he was little bit unlucky to be sent off....
