According to the Mirror, with Wanyama unlikely to be sold in January, Wenger is targeting a midfielder in the price bracket of £5m-£10m.

I heard that we were looking to loan him at the season's start, but that his club had so no and only wanted a permanent transfer. I know fuck all about the bloke but wouldn't be surprised if we do indeed sign him.

At least he's a striker. Although TOF will probably play him on the wing and he'll be unlikely to displace Project Giroud. I expect fuck all anyway.
