Barcodes at home Saturday 2nd January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Utterly fucking appalling.

Giroud, Chamberlain, Ramsey, Walcott - all fucking awful today. Giroud has well and truly returned to his lazy arrogant self too. As usual Ozil and Ramsey working hard to press defenders and Giroud lazily saunters about.

Looks like we're not particularly bothered about winning the league

On the positive side, we were shit that half but aren't losing. If you're going to be fucking shit, don't concede.

Walcott and Ox are both terrible. Ox runs down blind alleys and loses it, and Waclott cant even pass the ball. Our midfield is a joke, they don't really look bothered. They are quite happy to allow Newcastle to jog past us. It still amazes me that anyone thinks we can win the title.

Had a few takers. However if the second half is as bad as the first I wouldn't bother. :D

I think cech saved us a couple of times, not certain goals, but broke up their attack.

I'm not sure any of us really think we can win the league, we just keep hoping. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Anyway, it's my fault, I keep secretly hoping for a goal fest and we only draw, mostly we have lost. I just can't help myself...

This performance is like the Soton 4-0 which we have in our locker

We have pace in our side, but we don't use it. When we did against United, we ripped them apart.
