Hull City (A) | FA Cup R5R | Tuesday 8th March| 19:00

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Team is pretty much what I expected and I am shocked that any of you expected any different
Honestly don't think that Gabriel can be trusted to play alongside chambers cos the dozy cu.nt sometimes looks like a rabbit caught in headlights and in my opinion he needs an experienced partner alongside him. Elneny, gibbs and chambers were always going to start, and I reckon that wally is being picked so that he can score a goal and wenger will be able to way lyrical about what a world class player he really is

Somebody raised the issue the other day about the risk factor of playing ospina tonight, and I have to say that it was something that hadn't occurred to me but maybe it should have - with cech already out for a month, can we afford to risk ospina in a game that we should win anyway ? If we don't trust our 3rd choice keeper tonight against a championship side resting half it's starting team, then how the fu.ck will we manage if he has to play against premiership sides and the mighty barca at the camp nou ?

Campbell is our best hope tonight, not much other creativity there. Hopefully Joel is right on it or we'll be in the soup! 8)

Can Gibbs actually pass a ball forward or is he contractually obligated to pass back :banghead:

I'm not liking the balance of the midfield so far. The real creative players are all missing. I think we are going to be in for a bit of a dour battle.

Not sure exactly what Elneny is supposed to be doing, not tackling, not creating...... anyone know?

Have to say that I've been far from impressed with Iwobi before tonight but credit to him, he's doing ok so far
