Arsenal - thanks for the memories.....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

100%. 8)

Seamo had actually started to go in the other direction and seemed to change direction mid-air, get a hand behind the point blank header and then push it out. Best save ever. 8)

Love this image more than the Keown one with Van Horseface. I love the way Ralph's got that ugly chuckle brother c.unt by the neck as if to say I'm going fucking break you in half pal.

Compare that to a melt like Koscielny who stood by watching Gabriel get sent off at the Bridge, and the rest of our nice boys letting Costa bully then. Imagine Keown or Lauren taking shit from that prick.....please
Nice image unfortunately spoiled by the Judas phone-molesting cúnt in the middle of it.

But, nah, for me the "Keown hanging mid air like a fucking evil footballing vampire over the cowering bitchboy VanHorseFace" photo will always be the best image from that day. 8) 8)
Not seeing much of this side of football in Arsenal these days. That's one of the reasons I still hope and would love to see Wilshere get back in to our starter. If he'd just start to believe in electromagnetism and not try to run through solid objects... :rubchin:

Cracking thread this and that pic sums up the team in the first 10 years of wenger's tenure. Ralph was proper hard even the English lads in our team back then gave him a wide berth. When a foreign player comes into the club and embraces all there is to fight (quite literally) for your team and fellow players, it's something to be admired. Fast forward to 2016 and there is no one in our current squad with the balls of the class of 1998-2004.

Today is ten years since we left The Home of Football - Highbury :(

And with that, the club became completely soul-less and TOF's vanity projects kicked into full gear.

Maybe a new stadium was necessary, but they shouldn't have mugged off and fleeced the fans like they have done for the past ten years, whilst the fraud of a manager wilfully sits on the cash. They did it all wrong. We're loaded, but shit (and soul-less).

We are only 1 or 2 percent away, I'm convinced we are on the shoulders of the European giants.

I distinctly remember that it was explained in no uncertain terms that we would have at least a decade of poor football, no defending, selling our best players and not competing for the league title, but everybody happily accepted that because we were told that we would try and finish 4th each year so that we can get a hiding in the CL last 16.

Absolutely. And in fairness Wenger and the club have delivered all of that. Also, they did clearly say that Wenger's theories about winning the PL without paying "dizzy prices" and by utilising the "internal market" would be proven right.

By Leicester City.

:barscarf:

Must admit, I now see what the AKB's see, and I can only - oh, hang on... :suicide:
