FA CUP V SOTON

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Am i the only person who thinks chamberlain's assist was actually shanked pass out wide that ended up going to welbeck?!

Two good goals by Welbz. I can't imagine Giroud would have scored either of them.

His speciality is the pass out of play, so, yeah, I agree with you.

Got to say Perez and Welbz look pretty effective together, ok this isn't exactly i high intensity match but they give us better pace and movement than normal :rubchin:

Playing very well taking advantage of their weakended team.

Nice to see some decent threaded forward passing makes a change from that square tippy tappy build up.Some nice play between Welbeck and Perez.

Had to laugh BT commentator at 0-0 Arsenal have some great strength on the bench Sanchez sitting between BFG and Jenkinson :D

Think Ramsey has helped more today by not being there than any game he has played recently. The ball is moving quickly around their box (well it did for the goals) and Ramsey doesn't buy into that kind of thing..
This may have been mentioned before but does anyone else think Perez looks like a young Steve Bould?

I hear a lot of Gooners rightly complaining when wenker fcuks up with his fa cup selections, but if I was a Southampton supporter I would be fuming with their line up - they are in a cup final that is a month away and are a upper half league side, so basically they have just 2 competitions to focus on, and he has thrown one of them today
The ox's passing has been sublime today, and perez link play has been outstanding at times (although he went missing for long spells too). Wally has been anonymous, holding shaky and gibbs shit
