As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I have never understood the positive comments and praise heaped on the *word censored* - Even at his best when he played for us he was no more than average, his best being when he didn't give away goals to the opposition by passing the ball either backwards or sideways to non-existent team mates and when he wasn't giving away free-kicks unnecessarily in dangerous areas of the pitch, at the very least even the Shitiest Ex-Arsenal players avoided doing that and yet when CliveElCunto managed to avoid doing the same his adoring fans hailed him as 'Brilliant' (there were a small number on here who supported him) - I always assumed it was due to their Poor Mental Health and that they had come off their prescribed medication or unlike us they simply could see 'The Truth'.
Watched the Scotland v Swiss game for about 20 minutes; for 2 reasons: to see how Tierney was doing; thought he played well (didn't see him get injured, but wholly surprised when he did ) Also in the hope someone like McTominey would snap CliveEl Cunto in half whilst seeing a Scotland victory. Clive was his dazzlingly Woeful Self... ie: Utter Fuckin' Shite - He was even Captain FFS! But still lead his team with his usual ineptness, but is an expert in pointing and telling others what to do, mis-placing passes and falling over.
Anything to say about onana's performance for his country the other day ?
I didn’t actually see that game but I read he was very poor. As was DeBruyne, if you’re now basing your opinion on one game when trying to judge how good a player someone is.
Buddy you are preaching to the converted regarding de bruyne - I have said on here many times over the past two years that de bruyne is a big game bottler and he is still showing that to this day. I acknowledge that I am slightly digging you out on onana but that is cos some were suggesting that he might play better when playing with better players than he has at everton - my experience is that sometimes playing with better players shows up how limited a player is too. Btw I said what I said about onana prior to belgium's game so clearly I'm not basing it on one game
That was a fucking shambles. Southgate is beyond woeful as a manager.
I agree but let me add that he is far from the only one - ferdinand can w**k himself silly all he likes about bellingham, but tonight he was as poor as he was in champs league semi finals and final. Rice was absolutely atrocious tonight - he was slow on the ball and his passing was shocking, I'm no fan of trent but at least he was passing forward, and if you drawing a game I dont know wtf would make you think that gallagher is gonna bring the creativity needed I was critical of saka in the run in for us, but I think he has looked dangerous in last two games and yet he keeps getting subbed
