As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I will be quite happy to do a post saying " I am Gus and Eboue can shaft my starfish daily" if we win the league!
BITTER CRITICISM OR DENOUNCIATION; AN INVECTIVE; VITUPERATION; FROM THE GREEK FOR 'A WEARING AWAY'.
WITH REGARDS TO THE GENERAL CONTENT OF MOST OF YOUR POSTS, WHAT PART OF THAT DESCRIPTION DO YOU DISAGREE WITH OR TAKE OFFENCE AT?
YOU ADMIT YOURSELF THAT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST WENGER SHOULD WE FAIL TO WIN ANYTHING THIS SEASON, SO WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SUGGESTING IT THEN? NO, THINGS ARE NOT PERFECT BUT THEY ARE NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AS YOU CLAIM, AND INDEED A DAMN SIGHT BETTER THAN YOU HAVE EVER ADMITTED.
I'M SORRY IF YOU WERE OFFENDED BY MY COMMENTS MATEY - NOTHING PERSONAL OR OFFENSIVE WAS MEANT. BUT FROM BEING ON THE SAME SIDE AS YOU IN THE SUMMER, YOUR CONSTANT AND REPETITIVE MOANING AND FAILURE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE IMPROVEMENT THERE HAS BEEN THIS SEASON HAS DRIVEN ME MAD TO DISTRACTION. SO MUCH SO THAT I'M IN DANGER OF GOING OVER TO THE SMOOTHIE CAMP OF 'ROSE-TINTERS' IN RESPONSE!!
NOW TELL ME, HOW COULD YOU POSSIBILY LIVE WITH YOURSELF IF THAT HAPPENED?!!
To tell you the truth IHH, this thread has gone on so long that I'm not even sure who I am much less if what my opinions are
Anyway just for the record I do think we have done much much better than I expected pre season and we have a real chance of winning the league which few had anticipated but it is because of that very real chance that is there that will make me gutted if we blow it now I thought 2 weeks ago that this league is ours to lose and not our rivals to win but results and form have slipped of late and it is more than a little worrying. Sadly I have to admit that I live in the short term world (not in a leeds utd/risdale/o'leary type of way) and I always fear departures of quality players like cesc each season we go without silverware - sometimes you need to put down a marker today just so that you are still in a position to do it 2moro(by that I mean that the golden future may never come to fruition and chances like this may be well gone)
BELIEVE IT OR NOT AUGIE, INTERNALLY I FEEL VERY MUCH THE SAME AS YOU (BUT WITHOUT ALL THE CYNICISM ). HOWEVER, I AM TRYING MY BEST NOT TO SHOW MY NERVOUSNESS OR GET TOO DOWNHEARTED UNTIL OR UNLESS THE WORST DOES HAPPENS.
THE END OF THE SEASON WOULD BE THE APPROPRIATE TIME TO REVIEW THINGS AND COME UP WITH A PROPER ANALYSIS OF WHAT, IF ANYTHING, WENT WRONG AND HOW WE CAN IMPROVE THINGS FOR NEXT YEAR.

Woudn't make this forum very interesting though would it?
I Hate Hleb wrote:WHAT, ME AGREEING WITH AUGIE OR LEAVING THE ANALYSIS UNTIL THE END OF SEASON?
I meant leaving the analysis. I tell you what, I always feel so much better after a bad peformance by coming on here and moaning like fuck about it. A few hours later I realise I've proabably gone over the top, and I suspect we all do the same thing.
Did Wenger have augie in mind when he said this yesterday: "If you look at what people said about our team before the season, we have already overachieved. Now, no matter what we do, it'll never be enough."

fuck off cus,, i still stand by my original post,,
which was not about our first 11 but the lack of squad,, and looking at eboue and diaby tonite then it still stays the same
Well I suppose that tonight is the ultimate proof that Arsene knows. We go through although we didn't finish top, and look at what happens to the team who did...they're out

What about the cross from the young lad who wasn't in the 1st XI?
