Italy have been one of the stand-out performers this tournament. Bang average strike force and an ageing squad which is quite patchy on quality.

And they've beaten Belgium and Spain (convincingly) and taken Germany to penalties. Fair fucks.

Italy know how to play tournaments, it's not always about quality. They are very similar to the Arsenal of old, stout resolute and willing to put their necks on the line.

Mind you only 331,000 population so with 9,000 tickets about one in 37 chance of getting a ticket out of the whole population :lol:

Think you have to give credit to Wegner on the day he signs the Japanese Messi the fastest striker in Asia apparently Girrooo finds his finishing touch.

Wegner should be given a lot of credit for France getting to the semi's the competition now for places Girrooo has upped his game already.Payet makes it 3 another Wegner nearly signed and as I type 4-0 impressive display by the host's.
