Re: Wenger Out protest, Saturday 11th March 4pm
In the modern day of everything being filmed on phones if it happened there would be video footage too many people there not to be.
If it did happen disgraceful if it didn't the people tweeting it or whatever the youngsters of today do should be ashamed of themselves the support of the club is divided and it may get worse before it gets better.
But it won't change anything. No new contract.

Well we already knew the AKB were sneaky lying fuckers, just like their lord and master, and will stop at nothing to smear the protesters and show us in a bad light. Just ignore it and keep retaliating with our side of the story. We're doing a fantastic job of keeping it mostly peaceful so far.

Another long time lurker and oldie with his first post on here (although have been answering back to the sheep on farce book for a while :box). Couldn't make it yesterday, but got there just in time on Tuesday night, good turnout again it seems, hopefully will be there again for the next one.....petition signed and well done to everyone for all their efforts!!

I concur, nothing happened at the supporters club.General wrote:Pure nonsense. I was on that side of the march when went past the supporters club. No punch ups, no abuse, apart from plenty camera phones and a few Lincoln fans giving lip service.
The only flash point I saw was outside the directors area when one bloke decided to front up and a few went for him, they were pulled back pretty quickly.
DT did say that after the game, "Young lad had a little Wenger Out sign, 2 guys physically ripped it off him and started abusing him, who do you think the steward went for?" but he is the other side of the North bank to me so can't confirm or deny.
Re: Wenger Out protest, Saturday 11th March 4pm
There was also a couple of dickheads who jumped in front of us and started jumping up and down, goading us. This was at Arsenal station. These two did the same thing as we were coming over the bridge. (I actually think one of them threw a punch at DT. LOL ) then scarpered.
One of the marchers, a young lad had to be held back from goin after them.

The only thing I saw was verbals between 2 marchers, and someone mouthing off just as we got past the Arsenal tube station. All in your face verbals, and nothing more. Also one Lincoln fan in front of Directors entrance who shouted at me that We should "try the Conference" but 3 pf our lot patiently explained our point of view. All in all we've got to expect AKBs to say something but my response was to hold my message up and sing louder, nothing happened. Bit more annoying when away fans have an opinion, but again not that surprised, like arseholes / media - everyone has an opinion on Arsenal
Re: Wenger Out protest, Saturday 11th March 4pm
I said the same after Tuesday's one. Loads of people clapping and supporting us...but didn't join in. Very weird.NickF wrote:The thing that amazes me with the marches is the number of people filming on their phones like it is some sort of freakshow.
A few even clapped as we walked past, I told them if they agree with message to join in. Of course they didn't...
It's the same on Twitter. Loads of people saying they want change but won't protest. When it's pointed out that he will stay on given half the chance, they don't have a solution.
Apathy seems to be our biggest enemy now.
Re: Wenger Out protest, Saturday 11th March 4pm
I know we need to keep the protests clean, but it's time to ramp up the stuff we are singing and putting on banners.
Nothing abusive, but start mentioning his greed, lies, arrogance, contempt for fans etc

I concur with Nick, Armchair and Tollgoon.
I would think we will be doing a demonstration at Wembley for the semi-final? I'm up for going to that. Unless we get a kind draw, we're out anyway. We need to think of meeting points and where we're marching to; I assume to the equivalent directors entrance at Wembley.
I imagine some of those going to West Brom will do their own demonstration. It seems that AFTV will give us free publicity anyway and we know some of their regulars are staunch WOB and have been on the marches with us.

Re: Wenger Out protest, Saturday 11th March 4pm
Does anyone know who ended up with my big NO NEW CONTRACT banner after the protest yesterday ?
Can anyone take it to West Brom?
Can anyone take it to West Brom?
Re: Wenger Out protest, Saturday 11th March 4pm
The Man City home protest needs to be huge also. There's a good chance they take 3 points from that game as well so that will automatically get it more attention post game.
We need to sort the details out for it within the next few days so it gives us 2 and a half weeks for it to get as much publicity as possible.
Maybe incorporate the Herbert Chapman statue in it to differentiate it from the last 2.

If you are in London next week I might be able to pick it up as I am going to WBA.Sean wrote:You gave me Chris' NNC banner and I can only go to home demosJumpers For Goalposts wrote:Does anyone know who ended up with my big NO NEW CONTRACT banner after the protest yesterday ?

I was look around inside the ground yesterday, How cool would it be if one of the supporters club banners around the top tier was replaced by a #WengerOut banner. Almost impossible to do I would think as you would need to be front row...

Guys we need to ramp things up....I intend being there for the Man City game. Should we do the balloons...500 with WENGER OUT for about £170. The carrying of them and the release at the stadium needs to be properly co ordinated. We need to get better organized..I can get a megaphone as well...somebody needs to lead the marches.
