Took my better half down to London to see the Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly theatre for her birthday treat (she got part two later that night

)
Story of Frankie Valli (Y) and the four seasons.
Was very enjoyable and didn't realise that I knew quite so many of their songs, without knowing they were by them.
Followed by a very overpriced meal at Jamie Olivers Italian (desert was pukka though) raspberry with honeycomb pavlova

Not my normal bag but 'The Night' is a fucking masterpiece which gives me goosebumps.

Kurt Vile’s ‘Pretty Pimpin’.
There’s a repetitious, bluegrass-style guitar that just won’t let go. I don’t know much about him but I cannot hear enough of this tune right now.

Off to see the Bootleg Beatles on Friday at Cambridge.
Have heard good things about them and the John Lennon looky-likey in particular.
