Unlike many he wont be going to the Euro's so he will be fresh !

Just imagine him and Scott Parker together with Denilson in an Arsenal midfield !!
Time for a new Joe Cole thread surely?

We can't buy until we sell. We will sign no-one as no-one wants our cast offs on the mega money they are all on. :banghead:

Aaaaah that's more like it! Why go for the quality option that costs money, when you can go for a mediocre shite Ligue 1 rubbish signing! I also heard Steven N'Zonzi mentioned LOL. Would this be the same player even Steve Kean binned for the season after his disgusting performance against Bolton?

I am personally sick and tired of crap Ligue 1 players.
Baba, what do you think of Marvin Martin? I know he's supposed to leave sochaux and we've been linked with him before but I haven't seen much footage of him besides YouTube. Think we need some creativity, was wondering if he would be much of an answer? Similar to nasri at all?

Martin is a decent player, very skilful if a bit lightweight. Bags if talent I admit but needs to bulk up. His problem is he doesn't score enough. Needs to improve that a lot and needs to take more shots at goal...

Tbh I am not as anti chamakh as most are - he was doing well for us last season until wenger treated him like shit and he never recovered, He is absolutely not good enough but he has suffered cos due to the inept CIC he has been our best back up option and that isnt good enough but that is hardly his fault

don't understand how simply dropping Chamakh for RVP is 'treating him like shit"...
or is there a story I don't know?

Keep seeing Djourou on the media clearout list, surprises me
unless the player wants out for regular football

Doesn't like to take shots you say?! Well he'll fit right in then! Sign him up!

This would be most welcome, therefore I doubt it is going to happen. Juve are not a silly club.

The BBC say that there are press reports in Austria that Manure are going after David Alaba from Bayern Munich.

Having watched him him vs Madrid in the CL SFs I would love to see this guy at Arsenal.

Pace, Power and Skill- this guy looks like a great prospect at left back and can even fill in in midfield, couldnt believe he was only 19.

Anyone else reckon he would be a better option than Santos?

Rumours we've bid 3 million for Joe Allen.

Quite a good little footballer. Not entirely what we need, but still.

Am I the only person who thinks Santos would make a great left sided midfielder if he lost the odd kilo or 30 ?
